Where Are The Sawyers Parents?

Where are the Sawyers parents?

This question has not left my brain after I was creating some of the Sawyers for my Tomodia life and was looking up their ages. Now I know it’s a Texas cannibalism family so I don’t expect them to be the greatest parents but it confuses me, why they would have Drayton(the cook) wait like 40-ish years and have other 3 kids (they probably won’t think they have twins) and we never see them in the movies? We grandma and grandpa look after them but where the parents???? Do they fuck off and leave they kids with the grandparents???? Are they dead?? Sorry if this is worded horrible I’m sick with covid and have been bedridden
