Finally stopped raining on Sunday so I went for a walk right as the sun was setting - around 4 p.m. - day light savings. Smelled like fall.

I'm so lucky to have access to such a beautiful library. Picked up "So Good You They Can't Ignore You" - it's about debunking the popular adage, "find your passion" -- but rather you have to work to get good and what you do - and that turns, develops passion. Looking forward to a fine read :)
The Queen Cobras dominated at Family Feud, tied for first place - went into the bonus round (distance between Boston and Cairo without going over) -- and came out champions! I may have hulked out quite a bit during those two hours.
My lovely humble friends didn't think we'd win (and preferred being the underdogs) but I already told one of our competitors earlier that evening we'd crush it, so we had to. Got a $50 gift certificate to Landsdowne Pub which we used that evening to pay for our dinner/drinks.
It was amazing night followed by some impromptu discoveries (and approaching strangers) around the Fenway area. Planning to resurrect the Queen Cobra Council (or book club) with our first assignment, "So Good They Can't Ignore You".
Visiting Mama Bear on her road to recovery. That’s her napping to conserve energy for her show, “Parenthood”. We went for a walk and as an added incentive to walk all the way into town, she got a Starbucks treat - hot chocolate with whip cream. Should have seen the little smile that crept on her face when I made the offer. She gave me great career and life advice while were were enjoying the new spot.We both win.
