The idea of Max being Red Hood and Lewis being Nightwing 👀
Because let's see the connections - Max has been treated as the villain this whole time while just trying to get revenge. Lewis, meanwhile, has to deal with the complications their connection and history brings, as he's often seen as the "Golden Boy Wonder" of F1!!

Small idea for the 4433 Nighthood AU
The rain acts like a cold blanket for Lewis, who stares down at the gravestone - tasteless and not at all in the style of the young boy buried underneath it, it doesn't have any meaningful symbols or sentences engraved to remember Max by, just a plain «Here rests Max Emilia Verstappen-Horner, loved ally and hero» which burns Lewis' heart.
He remembers the very first night he got to meet the younger, how he was the living emblem of life, hope and light and without him, the world is drenched in nothing. Regret swirls around him when he recalls what the first sentence to Max had been.
'A child like you is replacing me? Christian, how much desperation do you have to feel to recruit a child from the streets?'
And despite everything Lewis had said that he long has repressed and forgotten, he remembers clearly how Max had stretched out his yet untrained and still-soft hand, smile bright and cheeks flushed with excitement.
'I won't be a replacement for you, I'm simply filling in the hole you left as best as I can! Please believe in me, Sir Hamilton!'
"I believed in you, Max." Lewis slowly sinks down into a crouching position, gently placing his hand on the gray stone, as if he could gently pat Max's hair. "Even if I never told you that, I believed in you, your hopes and dreams and especially in your skills and determination to help."
'Lewis,' Christian had sighed when he refused the hand, 'Max is here to stay, no matter how you feel about it, and I won't let you deter me from the goal we all want to reach.'
"To make sure that the man who terrorised the city will never be free again, but I'll make sure that he'll never again open his eyes, I promise you, my golden lion."

hope you will write the longer version of 4433 nighthood au!!! love the idea of it.
Don't worry, I'll write it! I just need to figure out what driver would fit what role.
I mean, I let Christian and Toto share the role of Batman, Joker might be either Zak Brown or Ben Sulayem (to lazy to look up the correct spelling) but I'm not quite sure yet.
And I need the other Robin roles to be filled in as well 😩

I know that there's a poll still going on, but I'm really leaning towards changing the names for them as I don't think Lewis would ever call Max "Little Wing" 😩😂
Another 4433 NightHood AU idea
If Lewis learnt how to mourn correctly, he wouldn't stand in front of the display, wondering what kind the younger would've wanted, or if he'd just ignore it for the sake of Christian and Torger.
He never truly understood why people would buy stuffed animals after a younger family member close to them died, but now he wonders if he should buy the plush-looking lion, a resemblance to Max's endless sense of honour and courage.
"You must really think about the perfect gift for your siblings," a soft voice next to him scares him, too deep in thought to notice the world around him.
He glances next to him, coming face-to-face with a young man, his appearance taking on more of an androgynous look but still resembling the traditional masculine idea.
"I'm sorry, but I'm not really following," he admits and the stranger smiles.
"The plush toys, you stared at them for quite some time now, you must be really considering which you want to gift to your sibling. Would you mind me helping you out a bit?"
"It's not for my sibling," Lewis sighs at the truth, "it's for me. He…died recently and I wanted to feel some comfort but he never had any stuffed toys, so I hoped to find something that reminds me of him."
A shocked and pitying expression crosses the stranger and he lays his hand comfortingly on Lewis' shoulder. "I'm sorry to hear this, Sir. I get what you're going through-"
Lewis wanted to scoff and laugh at that because no, the stranger would never be able to get what he's going through because neither Max nor he had a normal life like them.
"- but maybe, look for a toy you connect with a memory more than a whole person. Remembering a person will cause you to remember everything, but for comfort, you only want the good memories to stay, so look for a memorable plush instead of a normal one."
With that, the stranger parts and Lewis' eyes slowly drift away from the lion, landing on the perfect plush for him - hidden underneath the cutely designed herbivores of Jurassic World, there's the Indoraptor.
"I promised to take you to the next movies, my Little Tooth, didn't I?"
How would you feel if I changed the aliases from all people (e.g. Batman, Robin, Nightwing, Red Hood etc.) to something more fittingly for the drivers?
