Hananoi-kun to Koi no Yamai | Ep1 | I never imagined the umbrella I held out for him that day… “You’re Hinase Hotaru-chan, right? Nice to meet you. I like you. Will you go out with me?” …would change my life forever. Never in my wildest dreams.
Which suitor is this?

And why is it Kenshin, Loki, Charles and Shakespeare?
Faust for the medical records.

Even if someone doesn't put you first or maybe only hangs out with you once in a blue moon, that's not all that matters. If they're someone you like spending time with, that's what friend is to me. — Kurata Keigo
honestly - scrolling through the tag and seeing how people talk about hananoi-kun , i kind of hate it . i kin him a lot , and he's working so hard actively in show ( and manga !!!) to change some extreme thought processes he has and it just feels like everyone has false hope that he's putting in work and effort . it feels like these people's words are directed at me and it hurts , i know maybe i just need to touch grass but ... i don't know .. i just wish i saw more compassion for him and his efforts rather than hearing he's creepy all the time .
Watching people hate on Hananoi because he’s “toxic” when he really is living the whole bpd experience is so sad because he is just 16 and that’s the most messed up age to deal with bpd and also because he actually gets better as the story progresses
I like how the story validates why he is the way he is and how he recognizes how his trauma affects the way the loves people and how he sees any type of relationship in general
Sure he is flawed and he recognized that and also the story never romanticizes the way he loves, it’s clear it hurts him to be this way but he doesn’t know any better because, again, he is dealing with trauma and bpd symptoms at such a young age (fear of abandonment, black and white thinking, having an fp, being obsessive and possessive, unstable sense of self)
I just wished people stopped demonizing him and saying “oh they’re romanticizing toxic relationships now” when it’s clearly a story about a boy that’s trying really hard to be better for him and the person he loves and learning that it’s okay to let others in too
