Berryfrost is so very cold. Mother says that staying with grandma will do me good, away from the city. But what do people even do in this small town?
I just hope grandma picks me up soon, before my toes freeze off…
Dear diary,
Every morning grandma starts of her day by visiting the cafe in town. Gigantic teddy bears sit amongst the tables, meant to give its customers company. Although I suspect that they did it so grandma doesn’t feel lonely each morning.
Dear diary,
Grandma took me shopping today. She says that the outfits mother puts me in are absolutely horrid. Now I’m all dolled up in the softest dress able sisters could offer.
I’m excited to see what the rest of my stay will be like…
Dear diary,
Grandma and I decided to stop by the skating rink after our daily coffee run. Except the rink was more of a frozen community pond.
I was worried about grandma falling while skating, but she’s actually very skilled. I wonder who taught her…

I was amazed when I walked into the living room this morning. Grandma insists that the elves came last night to put us in the festive spirit, but I know it was all her. Maybe it’s the hot coco, but I feel so warm inside.
