danny phantom danny fenton dani phantom i have decided they are Both space nerds actually now that i’m thinking of it at hell o’clock in the morning their relationship has the potential to be super interesting lowkey i am firmly of the belief that calling them cousins was a copout to avoid having to write an emotionally complex character dynamic and to keep people from thinking too hard about what they are to each other but there’s so much POTENTIAL what does it even mean to clone a ghost is she his daughter is she half his daughter half literally him shes an imperfect copy and unstable in canon iirc and ghosts can literally just duplicate themselves so what if it’s her human half that’s imperfect like their ectosignatures or whatever are the exact same but since her human half is slightly different she keeps falling out of sync with h erself if she uses her powers too much anyway this has at least 2 possible side effects with a Lot of narrative possibility 1. danny as the original can stabilize her on his own you can’t tell me the circumstances that led to THAT discovery wouldn’t be an interesting story and 2 they could have some kind of empathic connection thing going on i am tired and rambly rn so i’m not sure but i think the best way to do that without exacerbating the ‘is she even her own person’ problem w ould be to have it only go one way like he can feel her pain but she can’t feel his given the time and brain cells i could be more coherent about this probably
