“Nonsense. How is your first name ‘Cursed’? Like a Witch’s curse, or...?”

“We probably shouldn’t be.” The secretary’s answer was blunt and a little airy, as if this was something that she told herself often. “And yet our luck is… Good? Bad? Either way it’s enough that we are here whether we should be or not, whether we want ti or not. But honestly? I’d rather be here than the alternative.”
“That is a good point.” Hakuno mumbles a little bit before turning to face her curiously. The young staff member was no main master and he would be lying if he said he didn’t enjoy his time here. “I was just...questioning everything. You understand? It can be hard...when everyone is working so hard and you feel like you aren’t worth it.”

“I was hired as a secretary, so I understand.” Her shoulders shrugged. Before everything she did paperwork and ran errands, she had no real computer, advanced science, or magic skills. Her fingers started to fidget with each other as she considered what to say. Ultimately she ended up sharing more of the things she told herself. “I also understand that there’s a reason for everything. Servants aside, I must be here because there has to be something that I’m capable of that these silly mages and exhausted nerds can’t do.” She gave a small laugh, “Well, usually it’s just nagging them to eat or sleep. What about you? Isn’t there something that only you can do?”
“Oh...well..” He paused for a little bit, Hakuno and his twin were accepted here because they had magical circuits, but there was more to it then that. “Well- I work with the computers, minor technician, as well as the one forced to clean up after the servants unfortunately.” That was all he could say of course, he didn’t want to let on that he could be called on to summon servants if need be, but that has never happened and he would rather not say it. “Nothing important.”

...Oh yeah, servants can have doubles right? I look puzzled at the fact that Sir Kay wanted to make it clear which people are from his universe, or lore. “That’s... a bit childish from you.” I would expected Merlin, but Sir Kay? That’s... Who replaced Kay?

“I don’t share well when it comes to my wife, and it’s a pain to have to share my best friend as well.” He doesn’t exactly sound proud, but he does sound matter of fact. “As for anyone else… I’ll actually welcome the help in wrangling Arthur and the other knights. Do you know how many Arthurs there are here? I am sorely out numbered and lacking in responsible adults.”
I worry about Sir Kay’s well-being, seeing that there was one responsible man, versus a basket of saberfaces (they look all the same to me), before I nod at his words, “I understand that you don’t want to share your wife, or your best friend, but I don’t think you should stop them from ‘sharing’, seeing that everyone comes from similar, but different lore. However, if it comes to it, you are always label them..?” I knew from firsthand experience that the king Arthur I met is a an idealistic driven king. “..I keep that in mind if I deal with any of the knights.”
