You stare at the wall quietly watching the clock show the time as you softly sink more into the bed. A hint of rosemary reaches your nose and soon you feel Mingi’s arms engulf your frame as they slide over to your waist and pull you closer.
“Sleepy?” his deep rumbles numbing your brain a little at the comfort of the situation as you hum turning around and staring at him. You giggle lightly when you feel his skin growing warm as he looks away, a pink tint adorning his defined cheeks and nose.
You love nights like this, doing nothing, just being in each other’s embrace until you two lull to sleep. It feels domestic, like a routine you would never get tired of and happily do it every day.
You trace your finger down his jaws and neck and rest your hand over his chest, drawing small patterns over those freckles you are so used to seeing. They look like stars on his heart and it makes you giddy loving how the freckles are in such an intimate place. A gasp leaves Mingi’s mouth but he smiles lovingly when he feels your lips press onto his freckles kissing them softly.
He hums in contentment over the feeling of your soft lips and just you in his arms and wishes it never ends.
“Mingi?” you whisper as he looks at you and you smile saying, “I love your chest freckles.” A small frown of confusion hangs on his lips before he replies softly, “Suddenly?”
“Just thought you should know,” you reply as he laughs softly, eyes becoming smaller and a small crinkle on his nose making it all the more adorable. You smile along with him as he pulls you tighter into his embrace and kisses your nose. You peck his lips before you both give in to sleep.
