a/n: awe i love this, it's so sweet. thanks for your request anon! im going to write this in a hc format hehe. warnings: pregnancy & children/labor. also sorry if this isn't how you wanted it done ahhh

If Adrian meets you while you're pregnant he would be very understanding of you. If it's a situation where the father abandoned you then, he would be quite upset. As your relationship develops and your bump grows bigger by the day he becomes very protective of you. Always checks in on you, making sure you're eating enough, and he researches all he can about pregnancy and labor. It's so cute seeing him excited for your baby to come.

He converts one of the spare bedrooms into a nursery for the baby, lots of toys, a cute baby bed, and even some of his own childhood toys. (Only a few! he still likes his toys don't tease him).

When you go into labor, he is ready. He has a midwife help out and hold your hand through the entire duration. Letting you squeeze as tightly as you need. Kisses your forehead during to (omg <3).

If the two of you meet while you already have your baby, he ends up falling in love with them. He is so gentle with them and always asks you permission to hold them. When he does, you almost want to cry about how good they look together. The baby would be trying to grab his long hair and smiling up at him. Honestly, Adrian might just shed a tear.

Will stay up all night with the baby while you sleep, and doesn't mind at all. Will probably sing a lullaby he remembers his own mother singing to him to help them fall asleep.

As your baby grows older and starts talking they call him "papa" for the first time and both of you are surprised. You considered Adrian to be your child's father, and for them to think so is wonderful. And Adrian is so pleased to be the father even if not biologically, because that's not what matters to him.

"You're so good with them Adrian I love you so much," you'd say to him.

"And I love the both of you dearly too."

Loves playing together with your child, and you adore watching them together. Of course, he shows off his dhampir abilities. Your child poking fun at him for having fangs.
