"You are... everything." Jamil sighed out, and if you weren't to look further into his tone, you would think he was annoyed by that fact.
"Everything?" You question, eyebrows quirked in confusion as you look at Scarabia's vice dorm leader, a bit confused by the suddenness of his statement. You two were just in the kitchen together - he was at the stove, making a soup of some kind for Kalim, and you were sitting on the counter after promising to clean the spot once you two were done.
"Everything." He confirms with a surety that you've come to associate with him, and you feel your cheeks getting warm at the resolute confidence he has in making that statement.
You're oblivious to the way that Jamil glances over at you, a smile playing on his lips when he sees how you're shyly looking down with a pink flush, that little comment affecting you more than he would've thought.
"Come here." He prompts, interrupting your fidgeting and gesturing you over. When you try to stutter out something about how he can't just say that, he rolls his eyes with a scoff. "Get over here before I change my mind."
That's all it takes to have you all but running over, and he wraps one arm around you without any warning, pulling you into his side as he plants a kiss to your cheek.
Pink cheeks get pinker, and you can't help but protest, but all Jamil does is laugh and it doesn't take long for you to join in.
And, what a sight you two were, supporting each other as you giggle, a secret little moment of pure adoration that no one would be able to interrupt. It was simply... lovely.
