Matt is completely addicted to being with Roman. It satisfies him on a deeply profound level that he's never experienced with anyone else. The more and more he returns to Roman, he keeps telling himself it will be the last time but the more he tries to stay away from him, the more the desire grows. He can feel himself beginning to slip and going out less on patrol, going to Roman's mansion instead. But he doesn't know if he cares because when he's with Roman, the rest of the world melts away and for a short period he feels whole.
