Fruit Tea with a Chatty Cat

Here’s another story I made, rather quickly too... I got an idea and it went pretty smoothly 8V

Sunan, the lovely and chatty Siamese kitty belong to @animalkingdxm, while Isabel the fruity bat belongs to myself

Once again, most of this was written from my phone, so there may be errors here and there. Nonetheless, please enjoy~

It was a lovely and relaxing day at the mall; not incredibly busy but still enough people walking around for is to seem lively. The fruit bat Isabel was walking around by herself, drinking a nice and cool strawberry smoothie as she strolled. As she wandered, her ears twitched around, taking in her surroundings for her. Isabel wore a nice black shirt and a black skirt with a cinched.  She had horizontal striped stocking and nice black boots. She had brown hair in a bob style, with two blue bat ears poking out. Her wings were along her arms, connecting to her back.

Isabel's eyes were nearly useless for her, so she relied solely on her hearing to get around. She could see any obstacle ahead of her with her ears, as well as make out shapes too. Though, sometimes her hearing proved less than helpful, as she was often known to walk into things or miss things entirely.

Taking a big sip of her smoothie, Isabel sighed happily, enjoying the fruity sweetness of her drink. She hadn't necessarily come to the mall for clothes shopping, since that would prove a fruitless endeavour for her. She liked to try sometimes, though it was almost impossibly tough for her to find something that she thought she'd look nice in. Today she was just here on a whim, getting a smoothie and seeing what she was in the mood for.

It was generally a quiet day at the mall. There was still a lot of talking nonetheless, but nothing really out of the ordinary. That was until she passed by a certain store. As Isabel took another sip of her fruity drink, she suddenly heard someone raising their voice near her. Her ears pointed in the direction of the sound, and even though she wouldn't be able to see she turned her head too. It sounded as though someone was displeased about something inside the store. "Please, like I'd want to buy anything here anyway! If I ever wanted to get something tacky, I'll be sure to drop by. But I'm taking my business ELSEWHERE!" the displeased customer shouted, storming out of the shop.

They sounded male, to Isabel, and using her hearing she an idea of what they looked like; fair height, slim, and feline ears and a tail. They were also walking towards her right now. They stopped in front of her and said, "Can you believe that store?! Trying to make me pay that much for trash?" The cat scoffed. Isabel couldn't tell if he was talking to her or not, but there was no one else around so who else could it be?

With a small jump, the fruit bat responded. "Oh! Y-yeah, they should know better than that...?" She didn't really know what exactly was happening, but she didn't want any trouble so she followed along.

Putting his hands on his hips, the cat continued. "Right?! Who do they think they are, trying to rob me! Ugh, I can't stand even being near here anymore, let's leave!" He said, starting to walk away from Isabel. She didn't follow him just yet, as she was still heavily confused with what was happening. However, he stopped, noticing she wasn't following and said, "Hello? Come on!" Isabel squeaked, realizing he indeed meant her. She followed after him and the proceeded to leave the store behind them.

The bat was so very confused about what had just happened, but soon enough the cat started talking again. "I didn't come to the mall to be ripped off, you know? Honestly, you should've heard those employees telling me how good I'd look in those rags! As if I don't know what I'd look good in!" He complained, still not relaxing about what just happened. "They should know who they're dealing with, I'm not some easy to impress plebeian, I have taste!" Isabel nodded along as she listened, still trying figure out if this was a joke or not. "Yeah, they should really be more careful about who they're dealing with, huh?" She responded, with a thinly veiled attempt to at least figure out his name. With another sip, she finished her smoothie, feeling rather sad that her delicious smoothie was done.

The cat man nodded. "You said it, friend!" He said in agreement. He let out an annoyed groan. "AGH! I need to relax! Come on, I know a nice cafe near here, they have such great tea there!" He cheered, Isabel nodding and following him still, throwing away her empty cup as they walked. The cat really loved to talk, the bat noticed, as he still kept going on, "This cafe is so good, I come with friends so much, and we just talk about everything. Like this one time, there was this girl, like the girl worked at that store there, but anyway..." and the cat went on and on all the way as the walked.

The bat girl struggled to both listen and walk without running into anything. She was still rather miffed about not even knowing who the heck she was talking to, but just as she opened her mouth to ask him, he cut her off. "Oh, here we are! I'll tell you more about what happened when we're inside." He told her as they walked inside. They took a seat at a nice quiet table, the cat ordering a nice Thai iced tea for himself. Isabel had no idea what they sold here, but luckily for her they sold fruit drinks. "Anyway, as I was saying, after that the dogs started going like crazy!" He continued. He seemed a lot more relaxed now and happy, sipping his iced tea and telling the bat his scarily long story. There was just no opening for her to even ask his name, but at this point it almost felt rude to ask him. Though, after a while he paused and looked at Isabel. "By the way... who are you?" He asked her. Rather to Isabel's surprise and relief.

"Oh, my name is Isabel. And what might yours be?" She asked the cat, rather excited to finally learn his name. Her ears were actually pointing towards him in anticipation.

"I am Sunan, nice to meet you, Isabel!" He said, taking a sip of his tea. "Now, where did I leave off? Oh yes! And when the neighbours heard all the ruckus they were SO mad! You wouldn't even believe it!" Sunan laughed. Isabel laughed a little too, it was kind of nice doing something with someone, even if they had just formally met after a kerfuffle occurred at a tacky store. Though, for the life of her she had never heard someone go on talking for so long, it was almost scary! She had actually forgotten almost all of what he had told her before this, the story was just going on so much!

Soon enough, they were finished their drinks, and Sunan had begun on a second story already. He only paused for a moment to pay for their drinks before he continued on. They began once more to stroll the mall as the cat told his story. Isabel was struggling severely to both listen to Sunan's endless talking and avoid crashing into anything. She gave most of her hearing to him so she could listen to his talking, but even so she had a hard enough time focusing on taking it in as she tried to avoid everything that was coming her way.

Sadly, though, she made a mistake. She walked straight into a pole and let out a surprised squeak. Sunan paused his talking and looked to Isabel, beginning to get annoyed. "Hey, are you even listening to me?" He said to her, his tail swishing angrily. "What was the last thing I just told you?" He crossed his arms and awaited her answer in annoyance.

Isabel pulled herself from the pole and tried to remember. He already told her so much, what did he tell her last?! "U-Uhm... you were saying... how that guy was... so awful and how he-" but Sunan cut her off.

"Not even close! You weren't paying attention! Seriously, when someone is telling you a story all you have to do is listen!" Sunan complained, stomping his foot. "But I know how to help you listen." He said, walking towards Isabel and grabbing her shoulders.

Isabel didn't even get a chance to explain her situation. She felt a gust of warm air touch her face and soon enough she felt her head enter a wet, tea scented place; Sunan's mouth. The cat was making quick work to eat the fruit bat, barely even taking time to taste her. He wanted her in his belly where she could properly pay him all the attention it felt like she promised. Though, she did actually have a sweet, fruity flavour to her, which he did rather enjoy.

Isabel soon found herself curling up inside the cat man's belly, rather impressed with how fast it took to get her in there. Sunan stifled a gentle burp as he patted his now big belly. "'Scuse me. But now with you in there you won't get distracted at all! Now you can listen to me talk wholly, isn't that nice?" He said, happily, proceeding to continue his mall walk, his big round tummy bouncing gently side to side as he walked. He folded his arms nicely on top of his belly as he strolled. His shirt did little to hide his round stomach, as it had slid up past his belly button.

Isabel actually didn't mind it too much. Sure she was trapped inside this cat's belly and having to listen to Sunan's endless chattering, but at least now she wouldn't run into anything! She really could try to listen to him talk now. And sure enough he began his story once again. The walls of Sunan's stomach may have muffled his voice slightly, but the bat's amazing hearing allowed her to understand him clearly. Plus, Sunan's belly had the lingering scent of the delicious tea he had today.

So the cat went on and on talking, Isabel occasionally adding in a sentence or two to let him know she was still listening. "Ah, I think that's enough mall time for me." Sunan said, stretching his arms, as he felt rather stiff from all his walking. Isabel wondered  for a brief moment if he'd let her out so they could go their separate ways, until he said, "Let's head back to my place, I've got a ton more stories to tell you!" Sunan smiled happily, giving his belly a few pats as he made his way out of the shopping center.

Isabel had very little choice in the matter, especially so now that the kitty was on his way home already. With a shrug, she sighed, "Sure, that sounds great." She pouted a little as she felt her prison bounce from side to side, though it wasn't long until Sunan stopped to hail a taxi. The driver didn't seem to question the cat's state at all, and once Sunan told them where to take them the cat was right back to his story.

"So yeah, my friends and I were SO excited to go see this, but then one of them said something you would NOT believe!" He said, drumming his fingers on his tight belly. His storytelling was rather boisterous, and obnoxious. The taxi driver was being driven mad! Sunan was so deep in his talking that he didn't notice the cab driver had seriously sped up his driving. In practically no time at all they arrived at the cat's home. Sunan payed the driver and exited the taxi, the driver zipping away.

The bat nodded and gave her responses to his story as he walked up to his door. Isabel had no idea how much longer this day would go on, or when he would even let her out... or when he'd even stop talking! It didn't take long for Sunan to get into his home. He walked inside and closed the door behind him. Giving his belly a gentle pat, he said, "Welcome to my home, Isabel! Make yourself comfortable." He giggled, patting his belly again.

Isabel pouted at his joke, letting out a small huff. "Thank you for your hospitality." She said, begrudgingly. The scent of Sunan's Thai iced tea was beginning to fade away. It was actually rather soothing to have that relaxing aroma around her with all this talking going on. But nevertheless, what choice did she have. The bat could feel Sunan moving again, and could hear him moving stuff around outside the stomach walls.

Sunan was in the kitchen, starting to get some tea in the making. He grabbed a kettle, tea ware, and some if his favourite tea bags from his cupboards, though he found his new girth was a little in the way while he did so. "He,  kinda odd doing this with a belly in the way." Sunan laughed, stroking his tummy. "But still, it's nothing I can't do!" He filled the kettle with water and sat it on the stove. As he waited for it to come to a boil, the cat took a seat at his dining room table. "Hope you don't mind, I'm just making myself some tea." Sunan told his captive. "Now then, where'd I leave off? Oh right! So even after the car left, that lady was still yelling!"

Isabel let out a soft groan as she listened along to the cat's stories. Man this cat could talk! Well, she found it oddly cute how much he liked to tell his stories, but being forced to hear them against her will was less charming! Being in his stomach wasn't actually too bad, in comparison, though rude to do it so abruptly Sunan's belly was actually kinda pleasant! It was quite soft and had a nice scent of tea to it, though a lot weaker now. Outside of his stomach, Isabel could hear a hissing noise; the water had finished boiling. "Sunan, the water is done!" She called to him, as he couldn't hear it over the sound of his own voice.

Pausing from his story, the cat looked over to his kettle to see she was correct. "Oh, good ears, Isa!" He cheered, making his way towards his kitchen again. Isabel could hear Sunan getting his tea ready, which didn't take that long. It sounded like he prepared himself a whole teapot and soon enough he was sitting back down at his table. He held his teacup and his plate over his belly. Pulling the cup just before his lips, he took a deep inhale through his nose and savoured the amazing smell of his tea. "Enjoy~" He sang, moving the cup to his lips as he took a sip of his tea.

Isabel could hear Sunan swallow and soon enough she was met with a warm liquid pouring into the stomach. The bat was met with one of the most amazing scents she'd ever smelled! It was an amazing fruit tea Sunan was drinking, loaded with sweet sugar! Isabel gasped and squirmed around happily. "Oh my goodness, this tea smells AMAZING!" The bar said in excitement as more tea poured in.

Sunan chuckled at his moving belly. "Oh, doesn't it? It tastes just as great as it smells, and even better with sugar in it too!" He said, taking another sip of his amazing tea. His belly continued to move as he drank, which wasn't too bad and he found it rather funny.

Isabel cupped her hands and let the delightful tea pool in her palms. She took a sip and was greeted by a superb and delightful taste of sweetness and fruity goodness. The bat let out an excited squee and shook Sunan's stomach again. "This tea is AMAZING, Sunan!" She cheered. "You have to tell me where you got this tea! WHERE'D YOU GET IT?!" Isabel wiggled in excitement. Anything fruity or sweet, Isabel loved it. This tea was enough to make her forget all about her weird, slow day and filled her with so much joy it was shocking.

Sunan laughed, patting big, wiggling tummy. "Well, that's actually one of my favourite stories to tell." The cat said, emptying the last of the teapot's contents into his cup. "But first, I think I'll get some more tea ready for us!" He said, rubbing his belly as he placed his tea on the table. He could hear Isabel cheer inside at the idea of more tea, and he didn't mind the idea either; he lived his tea! As he prepared more tea he told his bat captive his story. "So, I was out shopping with my friends and I thought I saw totally adorable girl." Sunan began. Isabel listened along much more carefully than she had for his earlier stories.

Soon, he had made a large amount of tea for the two of them. Sunan didn't rush his drinking though, he still savoured each sweet and delicious mouthful of tea as it deserved. Soon there was a lot of amazing tea with Isabel inside Sunan's belly, which the bat girl didn't mind at all, occasionally cupping her hands to take a sip for herself. The cat's belly was a little larger than it was before due to all the tea he was drinking, but he was drinking for two. Finishing off the last of the tea he made, Sunan finished, "And that's how I found this amazing tea." He placed his tea cup on the dining room table and patted his belly, which felt rather sloshy from all the fluids he had taken in. "It's funny, if you hadn't gotten distracted from me at the mall you we might not be enjoying this tea." Sunan laughed.

Isabel giggled. "That's true, but I had to try to focus on where I was going while I was listening to you too, I can't exactly just see clearly." The bat said, finally explaining why she seemed so inattentive at the mall. "Kinda... blind as a bat." The cat was rather surprised. "Seriously? Oh wow, I didn't know! If I had known sooner, well," Sunan thought for a moment before chuckling and patting his belly. "I guess I could've put you in here sooner so you could've listened to me more." As they giggled, Isabel's more awkward and uncomfortable than Sunan's, a nearby click chimed, showing how late it was. "Oh my, look at the time!" The cat gasped, getting out of his chair and stretching, sticking his belly out a little farther in front of him. "I think it's about time to hit the hay. Hope you don't mind spending the night, Isa, it's really late And I can't let something bad happen to my guest!" Sunan said, patting his belly. "Y'know, we should do this more often! I'd love to have you over for tea again." He laughed.

Isabel sighed, she didn't mind staying in this lovely smelling prison all night, and she was pretty tired. "Alright, that sounds good to me." She responded. "And that sounds like it'd be fun, for certain!" Sunan yawned and made his way to his bedroom, his belly gently sloshing side to side.

He changed into his sleep wear and as he was going to the washroom to wash up before bed, he gasped. "Oh, this reminds of another story!" He said, "It was really late at night, and I had just, like, gotten ready for bed when my friend calls!" Sunan's story continued even as he was brushing his teeth, but Isabel was only half listening, as her tiredness was taking her over. The level of tea inside the cat's belly had already gone down a little, and Isabel leaned against the stomach wall. She slowly started drifting to sleep, Sunan barely noticing. With washing up done, the cat made his way to his bed, still telling Isabel his story. He tucked himself under his blankets as best he could with his big belly and turned off the lights.

It wasn't long before the cat began to drift to sleep as well. But even when he was asleep, he was still telling his story, on and on and on into the night.
