Good to see you're doing well! I'm currently recovering from having surgery on my broken leg from an accident. I got that awkward leg cast and that dang knee scooter - which honestly is a hassle to use in my house so I'm just having to use a cane to get around short distances. Aside from that, the pain is unbearable at times even with meds and sleeping is quite uncomfortable. I've been confined to the couch mostly since it's easier to handle my laptop for classes. Could I request some comfort of our lovely men with their s/o going through with such? Thanks so much for your time and hope all is well and improves for the better!

No Leg Scooter for You!

📍First off, may your leg heal well and you will be able to eventually do all you used to. My rotator cuff is stabilizing and as long as I haven't any restrictions to movement for most part, surgery isn't required. Says my PT person😊

Sorry this is taking so long😕…I have written stuff before on s/o injured and also sick..but I thought I would add some personal touches for your ask.

I have heard something about those scooters. My dad's leg slips off it and he still can't put any pressure on his partially amputated foot, from diabetes. Also a couple co-workers who also had surgery.

Crutches are not reliable enough to not have falls and wheelchairs are a problem in small hallways and how poorly older places, disabled bathrooms are a joke!

⚕️Note: Google provides a speak to text program for students with writing difficulties. Special Needs uses this to assist in writing assignments for English papers in American High Schools

🪢Starting with our tired teacher-Shouta Aizawa

•One thing immediately would be Shouta's knowledge with his capture weapon and creating ceiling hand loops to reach for to assist in standing.

•Get the UA excavation pro hero and teacher Power Loader to come up with stuff like a uniform to assist movement. Or construction on more disability modification. ( Pro Hero and faculty member at U.A. High School who manages the Support Course Development Studio.)

Being in charge of Support Course would mean approval of your place…

⚜️Next is Vampire Hunter D.

•In D's time you would be either in the Capital or staying at a location with advanced technology. Both humans and computers would be at your assistance.

•Attending college means you're rare and have unique intelligence as such students receive free college funded by the Capital.

•The Capital is leery of D and his status as Sacred Ancestor's son but would permit the dhampir to reside or come and go as needed.

Anything not provided or well enough gets a visit from D..

🍷Nightmare of a Shadow King Alucard

•Assisting with his shadows and darkness manipulation:

1. Help with getting you around safely.

2. Helping threaten those that don't help quickly.

3. Visit to the dean of college to "persuade" best available.

•And if you need typing done, you dictate and Alucard's shadows do the tying for you. To see so many whisps of shadow tendrils is never wracking but better than Alucard using too much vampiric strength breaking the keyboard!

You get to spend more free time with Vampire King..

⚙️ Post Opt Surgery

I recently had surgery and I've been mostly confined to the bed or couch because everything hurts with the abdominal. It's very difficult and painful to get up to go to the toilet and even to the kitchen to make something simple to eat. The only "restful" sleep I get is when I take the strong pain med and that only lasts so long. How would the men care for their s/o that's struggling with post-op recovery? Please and thanks so much for your writing!

📍This one I have had personal experience with a c-section and the pain meds didn't work well. Hope you are on the mend now. Took 2 weeks for me to be independent. So here we go…

•⚕️•

⛩️•Aizawa

•If a surgery is planned, Aizawa takes leave. He has like 5 years of medical/sick leave unused. Borrowed a car that you don't have to step up or lower down to get in.

•If not planned, he will get Mic and Midnight on class 1-A duty. Shouta knows it's nerve wracking even if the procedure is standard or has a high success rate of recovery.

•Planned meals cooked and frozen so just heat and eat.

•If Shouta is out of the room grading then it's understood you page him by phone. Texas but more likely calls as Aizawa doesn’t check his texts a lot.

•When in bed or on the couch, he waits for you to settle your feet on the floor and assist by using your hands and arms to rise up for standing.

•He showers with you to wash your hair. Just stand and enjoy his fingers softly massaging your head while shampooing your hair. He will tell you how beautiful you are but no harassing sexually in the shower except affectionate kisses.

"Do not be embarrassed babe about your situation now.." Shouta would remind you every day.

•Well he's a menace to society! And a little clueless on surgeries. He lives in a dark basement and never stays injured.

•Harassing Walter about what to feed you. Telling him how to make Romanian traditional meals and especially desserts. Certain foods are high in iron due to any blood loss during the surgery.

•You are currently in a room upstairs with an attached bathroom. Just getting up to go to the restroom is painful. If you wish to be downstairs during the day, Alucard shows off how his shadows can lift you safely and bring you down the steep stairs.

•He's more reactionary and moody. You are the light in the darkness for him. Alucard completes missions with due haste and doesn’t 'take the bait' if Anderson is in England/London.

•The first few days he will be available for whatever you need, which is usually getting help to stand up and sit down. You simply say his name in your mind.

"You called scumpetea mea (my little darling)?"

⚜️• Vampire Hunter D

•This would be one occasion that you would temporarily reside at a noble's residence. Of course vampire free.

•Often there was a medical lab to heal a noble's favorite humans. Strange as that might sound. Technology is still more advanced than humans, so more capable of taking care and helping you heal quicker.

•Readily available food stored and water from an underground well. You will be fed like a queen.

"Wear this for now," D tells while taking his blue stones necklace off. "You need to be safer here than me."

The creepy part is when Lefty comes scampering in minus the rest of D to check on you..

And finally Vlad the Impaler King

•Vlad would be most concerned about your healing and not getting an infection. He would monitor the incision for redness and inflammation. His sensitive nose can smell infection easily. The Impaler knows how to do first aid kind of care but true medical procedures, not really.

•If the pain isn't able to be managed then out comes the alchemist knowledge and old Wallachia healing herbs too.

•You would have a servant at your call when he is unable to be here for you. Healthiest food and good water for you. (remember still didn't really understand parasites in the water)

•Be in on the doctor visits and learn how you are progressing so far. Fresh air sitting on a balcony or carried to a flowerbed to just reconnect with the real world once more.

And finally Vlad would insist you drink a full glass of specifically spiced red wine. And you kinda figure you don't want to know the special ingredient..

How would D, Alucard, and Aizawa react if they found out their s/o was injured?

I will work in order of how they are listed.

⚜️D

•If in combat, he would finish the fight quickly and then begin to do first aid. The scent of blood will bring more monsters your way.

• He now keeps his medic kit up to date. He would forget keeping the kit stocked in the past, being alone and regenerating.

•If need be, find a Noble castle abandoned to have access to medical help as in drugs and advanced medical devices. Sometimes frontier towns don't even have regular doctors but traveling ones.

•D would seem steady and stoic. He is effective with care. Other humans would think he's cold and doesn't care deeply about you.

•But his touch and facial expressions, shows how much concern he has for you. He speaks softly, as his voice keeps you calm and settled.

•His travel blanket around you, his scent on it and then warm tea or some cool to drink. And a stash of a favorite comfort food.

🍷 Alucard

•Oh! If someone messed up at their job, they will be paying in hell. No one leaves you in danger of injury and you will have trouble convincing him that you can return to work out in the field.

•It's a good lesson for him though. He gets so into his monologue that he forgets his surroundings and that's when humans get hurt. Or worse, killed.

•If you get injured in a mundane way, he will give you a bad time but lovingly. And of course once he knows it's not lethal, his long thick tongue slides out to wash you clean of your precious split blood. Can't have that going to waste now. And the rumbling vampiric purr as the Vampire King wraps his tall body around you, to keep you safe from yourself.

•He would eventually start spoiling you with comfort food and a body massage but first you have to learn your lesson before he pampers you.

And it's on his time…not yours. Don't even think about pouting.

🪢Shota/Shouta Aizawa

•He sees how he is with his students. Now multiply that by a thousand and that's you. If doing patrols or hero work then expect him to train you further so it won't happen again.

•If a civilian then what you can do to lessen your chances of a villain attack. He would lose his cool a little and you shouldn't have done what you did. But you have a right to live in the real world and not a padded cell called home.

•Run of the mill avoided. He would analyze and see if future accidents and injuries can be avoided. You know they make sharpened plastic chopping knives that don't cut your hands and mesh gloves to wear for cutting when cooking.

(Special needs approved, as they have a right to live as independently as they can too. That's how I know about this stuff.)

•An evening off in which you two just spend time together. Maybe cooking dinner and cuddling on the couch watching your favorite show or movie.

📌 In Health and in Sickness

Hello. Do you have headcanons of D, Alucard, and Aizawa taking care of their sick s/o?

This is a good one! When sick we are often at our weakest point mentally and physically. So I will start in the order of three as listed.

Couple notes about my Hellsing alternative universe (my stories he cannot love as he believes he has forgotten how or never truly loved as a human. A human has four slots: food, chew toy, human pet and finally companion. I am letting slide his emotional attachment to include gestures of being loving though he most likely wouldn't be. He is a real fucking Vampire)

a. Alucard can take his original form of Vlad but he is unable to gain access to the powers associated with that ultimate form. It can become painful in hours as the sigils of Hellsing are straining constantly to return to the level of 3 or ideally higher.

In my Hellsing world, Alucard tests his occult bindings on a regular occasion. He still keeps secrets on how well the sigil holds him. Integra is nice to him but he is still a slave to Hellsing.

b. Dr. Pine (I created so less detail to keep creating for my stories) is the on manor, general doctor in the hospital wing. The Wild Geese have enough casualties on a regular basis for an in house doctor.

Here we go…

⚜️Vampire Hunter D

•D would be my first choice for sick care. He has had around 10,000 years to learn and in his time period, medicine is more advanced. He also has the money should you need something special for that expense.

•That said, he would be knowledgeable in plant ingredients and possibly some Nobility monsters having medicinal properties. If you wanted only plant based, killing monsters makes you less inclined to take your medicine. Synthetically produced medical components.

•If you were required to stay in a frontier town, he would be at your side. If need be, Lefty can be separated from D's wrist to retrieve small items. Though people will be freaked out, it's about you getting well. This is most likely food, including comfort foods.

"You know you're a slave driver…"Lefty grumbles. "Can I hold, say their ass at some point?"

"No." Would be all D would say.

Lefty bites the kleenex box of tissues, mumbling. "Nhmm..D..ergh.."

🍷Alucard

•The Eldritch vampire may be mouthy and bad innuendos but never when you are sick. He tries not to have to go on missions or they go super fast. No taunting his freak enemies. He needs to get back to you. In his time period (1431-1476), people got sick and died. Few recovered from serious illness.

•Good thing resident Dr. Pine can work under extreme bodily threat from an unhappy Vampire King. If a high fever won't break, Alucard will accompany you in the cool water. His concern is from the inability to control high fever in his time was less successful.

•It was believed, though not historically proven, Kazikli Viovode was a practicing alchemist. When other medical drugs fail then he is "cookin" in the basement.

•He would make a life debt if he needed to go to other beings at Chateau Sanguine. (300+ London hotel for supernatural nature/paranormal beings to live. A being can ask for sanctuary and Alucard obeys the rule. He just waits for the being to leave the hotel to exterminate)

•You may need to remind Alucard needs to drink his blood. Taking care of you also means he takes care of himself.

"Scumpa mea/meu, you need to get well. I miss your regular company through Hellsing…"

🪢Shota/Shouta Aizawa

•Shota? He will get even less sleep, trying to get you well. You have to remind him constantly to eat and sleep too.

•His treatments may also include herbal remedies and teas. The intake of vitamins like vitamin C increased. When modern medicine isn't cutting it.

•Unfortunately once you are better, if it's like a virus, he will be down sick now. So you both know how you take care of each other and shorten the healing time.

His hand stroking your sweaty forehead,"I'll help get you well in no time.."

•All three would also be by your side as much as possible. With D and Alucard, the worrying of them catching something is not a concern.
