First of all, thank you so much for the ask. This is my first writing request, so I'm very thrilled about it!!

To tell you why I chose to write about December, this month sort of awakens a joy in me and is aesthetically so pleasing. It is inspirational and it's winter in the part of the world where I live, which is my favorite season. I've personified December in the poem.
