Ooooooo!!! All of these are so good!!!! How about 20 with Paps or 17 with Undyne?

How about both >:)

I’ll start with Undyne, cause that prompt is abit more..... light hearted if you will.

In my head cannon, she doesn’t show her nerves easily. To be a captian you have to be able to think quick on your feet, play the tough gal, and not let things get to you after all. That, and she is a naurally confident and passionate person who’s very tough to shake.

That being said, it’s not impossible to knock her off her game.

Topics like vulnerability and emotions other than passion tend to get her, as well as situations in which she has to disappoint someone. That, and any assignment or letter or speech that has to be written and turned in.

Typically, she’ll push down her nerves and put on a brave face, but there are a few good tells. For one, she tends to grind her teeth and not sit still. Her gills flare, and she tends to ware this wierd, almost painful looking nervous smile:

Also: when trying to write down any letter or speech, she ends up going through nearly a dozen pencils because she keeps breaking them. Once, after a phone call with Alphys (before they got together) she actually broke a phone she shut it so hard.

Now for Papyrus and Resets:

So, I personally hate the ‘Papyrus is completely ignorant and uwu’ headcannons. So a lot of this might just be out of complete and utter spite.

But. Personally I believe he’s actually rather knowledgeable of what’s going on. In fact, in my head cannon, Paps is in the top 5 people who has an idea of what’s going on (not including those who CAN reset).

He doesn’t exactly remember any timelines, but he does suffer from a lot of fucking dejavu. He also has a tendency to get wierd feeling and half thoughts about certain things. Most notably, the fact that he now hates being trapped in tight spaces or being wrapped up in anything too tight (one too many times being crushed by vines). I wouldn’t quite call it clairvoyance, but something similar.

He also has frequent nightmares that he can’t entirely remember. Little details stick out, like vines or convator belts, or once even the sun, but other than that nothing sticks. All he knows is that something allways scares the bajesus out of him and sometimes it’s better to just not sleep.

He’d probably be able to figure out he’s in a time loop if given the right data. But the problem is, it’s a huge leap to make when one only has half memories. All he’s got is that Flowey seems to have the same thing going on (what with telling him “predictions”), something’s very very wierd about Frisk and thier floaty friend, and that he has trauma that never actually happened.

He doesn’t open up to anyone because it sounds absolutely insane, and will make things even harder to make friends. That, and Sans gave him a really wierd look the one time he brought it up. And a healthy ammount of denial and toxic positivity.

In conclusion, Paps knows something is going on, but he doesn’t know what. And it’s really starting to freak him out.
