i know what i really crave is a community that is centered around religion and contemplation rather than capitalism and "hustle culture" and i think the specific allure of roman catholic cloistered nuns is that they do not have to work outside of the convent

if i were a medieval christian peasant i would totally be a cloistered nun and i think maybe a life of prayer and contemplative solitude would be really good for me. however it is the year 2024 and i'm a dyke and also jewish and very proud of being jewish and i have no connection to catholic beliefs, only a hyperfixation on the daily rituals of monastic life.
