"sit still, gonna turn you into the prettiest doll ever."
"oh? am i not already the prettiest doll?"
seungcheol gives you a deadpan look, "you know that's not true, doll."
you snicker at the look on his face and he stops using the brush because of your movements from laughing. currently, you were sat on seungcheol's lap, leaning against your vanity while seungcheol took the little seat you would normally use.
"sweetheart..." he whines, displaying his pout.
"sorry, i'll stop. promise!"
seungcheol picks up an eyeshadow brush, dipping it in a warm shade. he asks you — very sweetly, i mean, he said 'please' — to close your eyes and with very light touches, he spreads the colour onto your eyelids with his pinkie finger resting on the top of your cheek. his brushes are so gentle that you can hardly feel the soft bristles.
"hey, are you even putting any on?" your brows scrunch together.
"i am! it's a very cute colour," he stops again, "relax your brows, princess."
"i can't feel the brush, i doubt there's any colour showing on me, cherry."
"patience, pretty princess," he kisses your lips, "patience."
you think he's scared to hurt you with a damn makeup brush, it's not possible for him to hurt you but then again, sometimes he forgets his own strength (he accidentally broke a pair of sunglasses 'cus the screws were too tight and wouldn't open...)
with the eyeshadow completed to his liking, seungcheol moves to the blush, applying it to the apples of your cheeks with the correct brush he picked up from behind you and mumbling something along the lines off 'gonna eat your cheeks, they're so round and cute'.
"open," he taps your lips with his finger and applies a coat of lipstick in his favourite shade on you — a cherry red shade. whenever you wore that shade, seungcheol couldn't help but kiss it off your pretty lips, didn't care if it transferred to his own.
"all done, pretty princess!" he leans back to check his work, dimple peeking out in pride. he hands you a little mirror so you can also see.
you think your jaw might unscrew and fall off from the way it fell so hard, "cheol...this is too good, how did you do it better than me?"
"i might have watched a few tutorials just so i could do it for you..." he trails off, getting quieter as his ears grow red.
"you—" practically jumping onto his lap even further, you wrap your arms around his neck and squeeze him tight, shaking him in your hold and too overwhelmed with love to even form sentences.
"i'd do anything for you, doll"
