Agree but also he was very classist and bullied people because they were ugly, he cared for appearences, might not cared for his own because he was effortlesly beautiful and he definitely didn't value people because they are human. Him being high maintanence isn't ooc, neither him not being high maintanence. Both are headcanons. He has flaws and he's not a knight in shining armor and equality warior.
Canon discourse is tricky. Especially around Sirius. One should be open for all sides of discussion.
