having flashbacks to that time like a week before tua s4 came out when i read a five x lila fic because i was like “wow ive never heard of that ship before, that sounds weird” and it was written beautifully and it was so well-done but i just personally hated them being together because it’s not my thing and i finished it and thought “wow i sure am glad this isn’t canon and can be interpreted by fans in their own ways”
and then midnight struck on august 8th, 2024

This is so funny to me because I had such a similar experience once
Except it was years before S4 aired- probably some time in 2021 or 2022
And in my case I didn't realise that this pairing was included in the fic
Until I did
And it wasn't my cup of coffee at all
So I was like “ Thank god this isn't canon
And then THIS happened
