extremely weird way to say that but i do kinda get the sentiment and like… yeah no one in the entire world could come close to replicating my history and relationship with my brother you can get a new child/spouse and form a new similar connection and history but you cant become a child again and grow up with a different sibling i kinda like those quotes in a way the love i have for my little brother is unlike any love ive ever had for anyone or anything else ive occasionally had dreams reminding me of that fact since i was a little child and he couldn't even walk yet im sure people can have the same love for people they met later in life but childhood memories can never be replicated ofc there are siblings with huge age gaps too but at some point i think the relationship is different there are siblings where one is a baby and the other is an adult those quotes makes most sense to me in the context of having grown up together but having the same parents and family is also a reason sibling relationships are like that your background is so similar biological siblings who grew up only a few years apart or the same age is like almost seeing a different version of yourself like totally different usually but theres probably not a person in the world who has a more similar background and physical attributes and like theres no reason they couldnt have been me just a new loaf with the same recipe does that make sense?
