Gotta love those characters that you hated from the beginning but turn out to be one of your favorites bc of how complex and simply human they are and everything is all grey instead of black and white and they are just a product of their upbringing and that doesn’t excuse their actions but you understand them and they understand their own mistakes and regret them enough to spend their dying moments unburdening themselves with the truth and begging for forgiveness and it’s sad because you don’t know if they will ever really be at peace after being betrayed by the only two people they cared about and all they ever wanted was to be good enough and to be loved and to be respected and it cost them their life

I literally remember starting “the ask and the answer” and seeing that todd would have to work with davy
and I was immediately like “we're going to be spending all this time with Davy?? is a redemption coming?? I don't like that.”

little dude is not perfect
but he is one hell of a character and I'm very sad he didn't get enough time to actually redeem himself completely and live a better life
