Screenhogging is not when a character gets more screen time than the others point blank itâs when someone who isnât as important gets screentime that couldâve and shouldâve gone to more important characters. So Iâm so sorry to tell you this but when the character who is the main driving force of the seasonâs main plot gets more screentime than the character who has a 3 episode long comic relief side plot thatâs not screenhogging thatâs basic writing 101. Some characters are just more important for the season and sometimes that character isnât your favourite character and youâre gonna have to get over it.
(And itâs also not a professional term is whiny fandom vocab if you wanted to write a genuine review you would say that a character took up unnecessary screen time)
