What’s the Paris story and rocking on poem could you post it?

For the Paris story I think you mean John Lennon’s story published in “Skywriting By Word Of Mouth”:

“An assignment in Jamaica had brought out the best in him.  His interest in methodist acting had led him to a cloakroom at the Church of Latter Day Sadists.  He had been commissioned to write a piece of shit.  The pay was good, and it contributed to his children’s hospitalization.  He was known for his chins and an unerring nose for newsboys.  A cable had arrived for him that very morning stating the obvious:

‘Come too quickly.  Stop.  Try again.  Stop.  Am waiting in Paris.  Stop me if you’ve heard it.  Stop.  Stuff yourself with artichokes and live.  Stop.  Don’t stop.  Stop.’

He knew it was from Amie L'Nitrate.  Her style was a little obstruse.  He put on his oilcloth and caught the crabs.

The Boulevard Saint-Germainegreer shone in all its springbok glory as he stepped lightly on some French loafers* toward the waiting arms of Comrade Amie.  "Tootie Frootie,“ he gasped, inhaling the fragrance of her hairs in his nostrils.  She greeted him warmly with a cold.  "You haven’t changed une bit, you oulde bastarde!”  She frenched him round the neck.

A flood of memories drowned him in a pool of sweat.  'You taste bon, mon cher!’ she exclamationed. ‘I can’t wait to get my fingures in your croutons!’ said he.  'OH you naughty man, you’ll never change,’ she laughed, eyeing his pants.

'For you, my dear,’ he said, ‘I’d change my address.’  He gripped her by the pound and headed for the wrong bank.

‘There’s too much about underwear and sweat for my liking,’ he thought to himself. 'Love is never having to pull yourself together,’ she said quite suddenly.  "Love is never having to pull yourself off,“ he replied in a lighter vein.

“NEVER CROSS A HORSE WITH A LOOSE WOMAN”

They reached the Georges Cinque and checked each other out.

'First of all, I will refresh your memory,’ she yodelled, chasing him round the roomservice.  'Und then … God Only Knows by the Beachboys!’

He forgot his ligns and undressed.  'C'mere yer little frog,’ he said, hoping for a renewal of his license  'Let me tongue yer Pommes Frites.’  They made vile love in front of an open fireman. 'A man in my position,’ he whispered from between her legs, 'can’t afford the publicity.’

He resumed the audition, stopping only occasionally for hair.  She, meanwhile, was fantasizing on Robert Redford and Bella the Abzug.  The lotus position was beginning to strangle him.  She was losing control, and he was losing his life.  His tongue, however, was kosher.  'Long time, no ceiling,’ said Amie, holding him to the window.  They were out to lunch.

For dinner they settled on a quiet small Italian followed by a vanload of Gendarmes.

'This town inspires me,’ he said, forcing himself on a tourist.  'No wonder they never stop talking.’  She nodded, her mouth full of life. 'Don’t take me for granite, Perry,’ said Amie stonily.  'Never my love,’ he sang.

There was an underlying bastard to their relationship which was to hold them in good stead in later bouts.  Neither of them held each other down; in fact, they took it in turns.  'One good turn deserves an encore’ pretty well summed up their relations.  They spent three happy months together and parted in a seething rage.

To this day, his memories of her are clear and fresh.  Like a force-fed baby, he’ll never forget, and neither, I hope, will she.  The Eternal Flame of Love burned the bottom out of their relationship  ahoy!  The captain stepped down from his bunk into…”

While here is Paul’s poem Rocking On:

I want to smell your underarm odour I want to drink your ice cream soda

Reminisce about our childhood What we did in deepest wildwood

Let’s remember fifites cars And hanging out in late-night bars

Want to give your back a rub Then jump into a foamy tub

Laugh at all your High School jokes One too many Scotch and Cokes

Want to stroke your furry kitten Don’t be shy you won’t be bitten

When we’ve seen the babies doze off Let me see you take your clothes off

When this world is dead and gone We will still be Rocking on!

“I’m sure that if [Paul] had been a woman or something, he would have been a great threat, because there’s something definitely very strong with me, John, and Paul.”

— Yoko Ono, Revolution Tape, June 4th 1968. [x]

“. . . I mean, I think really what it was, really all that happened was that John fell in love. With Yoko. And so, with such a powerful alliance like that, it was difficult for him to still be seeing me. It was as if I was another girlfriend, almost. Our relationship was a strong relationship. And if he was to start a new relationship, he had to put this other one away. And I understood that. I mean, I couldn’t stand in the way of someone who’d fallen in love. You can’t say, “Who’s this?” You can’t really do that. If I was a girl, maybe I could go out and… But you know I mean in this case I just sort of said, right – I mean, I didn’t say anything, but I could see that was the way it was going to go, and that Yoko would be very sort of powerful for him. So um, we all had to get out the way.”

— Paul McCartney, interview with German tv program Exclusiv, April 1985. [x]

“It’s just handy to fuck your best friend… and once I resolved the fact that it was a woman as well, it’s all right. I liked her cause she was like a bloke in drag… like a mate.”

— John Lennon talking about Yoko Ono - Powers of Two by Joshua Wolf Shenk. [x]

“I still think at the back of John’s mind was this fascination of wanting to get back with the first girlfriend, if you like, and that was to get back with Paul, who he had so much history with.”

— Tony Barrow, The Beatles’ press officer, on the Lennon/McCartney reunion that was never to be. [x]

“My “simplest, most logical” reason that Yoko treated Paul as her main rival for John’s affections was… he was the main rival for John’s affections… How many books have been written about Lennon and McCartney, and on that period specifically, and not one of them has seriously suggested that John might be a bisexual man in love with his songwriting partner and closest adult companion? Now, we have writers timidly peeking out and saying, “Gee, it’s almost as if John was in love with Paul.” Has the evidence changed? Not much. Have we as a society become more educated and tolerant? Yes.”
