DC has lost the plot with Deathstroke. Deathstroke Rebirth was fairly good, but Deathstroke needs to return to being a semi-retired mercenary and the 'Terminator' again.

Batman and Damian? Whack.

The Al Ghul thing has long gotten stale.

Deathstroke is the only badass in DC left.

To be fair, Talia is to blame for Respawn's death.

Deathstroke was innocently training his villains, and Talia decides to hit Deathstroke for something he didn't do?

Then instead of a 'War', we get a nerfed Deathstroke getting beaten by Talia, of all people?

Deathstroke needs to be badass again, this family matters thing is not good for Deathstroke's rep.

It ruined Batman, that's for sure.

Heroes are quintessentially rebels

And the Marvel and DC Heroes of today are no longer rebels.

They are costumed propaganda machines who maintain the status quo of corruption and oppression while claiming to fight for justice.

Their great power is used to protect corrupt power structures.

They support what they purport to fight against.

Villains are the Heroes of today, and the Heroes have lived long enough to see themselves become the villains.

I'm in the middle of kinda clearing out my likes, mostly for personal preference now that I have gotten out of a lot of fandoms that I deemed as being toxic and no longer wanting any trace of in my likes. So if I tend to annoy y'all with reliking your posts, I do apologize.

Half my likes involve RWBY....which I can admit I loved, but because of how toxic the fandom has become I no longer enjoy it. It's the same for Marvel, DC...almost everything saved for Assassin's Creed, The Owl House, and a few others...

It got to the point where I can't watch something without a rando stranger looking over my shoulder and start randomly blabbing to me about really personal reasons about certain aspects of a show I am trying to watch, or gameplay walkthroughs to memorize very useful strageties, and when I try to get a say on the subject, they call me very uncalled for things, and I can't take it anymore.
