Ok headache is making me go insane but like

Narrator made SO MUCH during skip button. Like, I'm not talking about skip itself but the TSP2 and the Bucket content. Like. I headcanon this man spent quite a bit of time during that to apologise to Stanley. To show he cares, that he's mad at whoever mingled with the New Content, who hurt him, who hurt them. And realising how much he had hurt Stanley, he made a lot of changes with the Bucket. The expo has so many new posters, Stanley cutouts, Stanley figurines because even if Stanley himself seems to have little role, it's all about him. It's The Stanley Parable after all, not Narrator, not Player.

But still, some endings are pure cosmetics. Because he finds the story perfect as it already is. Because he still wants to be playful, to tell Stanley to die, especially if they know he can't.

He made a present. But it wasn't for us.
