Let's analyse the hexcore!
Its potential functions and powers, how it affect Viktor,
AND WHY IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE VOID
The hex cores abilities are a bit unclear, but I believe there's a clear progression of its corruption and a hint to how Viktor will use it. AND I SWEAR IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE VOID, shimmer didn't infect it. (This does not contain info from the le*ks in any form.)
Firstly the core does not influence Viktor, it is rather a vehicle for his obsession, his strange relationship to it began even before it consumed blood or even before it was built, he started seeing and hearing things after the council meeting. (I will talk about more why that happened and why at the moment in an analysis i make on him later.)
The weird purple flesh-like imagery begane before it even consumed shimmer, because it's not connected to the void, but it's what arcane magic looks like when it is contaminated with flesh. We can see this when the inside of his leg is shown.
Yes it already effected him in some way after the core absorbed his blood, as Heimer noticed he did become more energized, but most likely cuz its started attuning to him, jayce journal mentioned how crystals attuning to people but it isn't explained in detail.
Yes, the core started working more reliably on flesh after it got into contact with shimmer, but since the second time viktor tried to use it, it was not present. I believe what changed the core further was the consumption of more organic matter, not shimmer.
This is why it changed form the second time. The shimmer was only important as far as making viktors body malleable enough to get it working the first time. But that begs the question why it got more reactive and easier for it to change people?
I believe the answer to that is because, well it absorbed more of it, but secondly the writing on it got muddled, it is no longer programmable or bound by them like Viktor originally wanted it but works on its own accord. it is less controllable.
This is further supported by the fact that where it corrupts can not be bound by runes anymore, that's why his hand got changed not his chest, now it corrupts by contact and it became unstable enough that it does it with anything that contactach with it.
The only time the core actively does something to viktor is when he threatens it, and even now it only does it to his body. It began to have a mind of its own now, but beforehand it didn't show any signs of deliberately influencing him.
After skys death there's an odd shot of his leg, crackling with energie, I think that was foreshadowing of how he started to become attuned to the core enough to be able to channel some of his abilities and energie.
So I believe this is why Viktor was touching people in the trailer. Now it changes by contanc reather by being abel to restrict where it influences the body with runes. And now he is able to channel the cores power.
From this we can suspect that he will use the rod from his design to control the arcane energie already inside him, or to control the cores energie directly, because in itself it is uncontrollable.
And that's how he is going do lightning and possibly some magic.
@nylloth
I knew this accusation will come!
No I didn't watched the le*ks, or got spoiled by them, I just like analyzing media and speak like im very sure of myself.
I don't know what you mean by focus on suffering.
The first time the imagery that people think is associated with the void shows up wayyyy before it even got in contact with shimmer.
The very first time it shows up is when arcane energize is fused with his blood. Which has nothing to do with the void.
Its blood and arcane energize combined, and its visual similarities to the void are only accidental.

Sevika
Let's talk about Sevika.
She's a damn great character, well built as someone who always and only works for someone she believes will help Zaun - her biggest motivation is helping Zaun.
Sevika is a well known figure in the lanes, both from Vander's and Silco's era, and I believe that her reputation will stay as a respected person - for a while.
Why "for a while"? Warwick.
You see, when Vander was being dragged to that chair in episode 3, he's staring at Sevika, and what we hear in the background? The blood hunt.
I reckon every Warwick player knows what it is; it's the name of his W. And in most cases, it means a low life enemy.
What I'm trying to say? Warwick may hunt Sevika, wether because he's chasing a ghost memory of a traitor, a primor urge of vengeance, or simply because she's the low life enemy we always run across the map to kill.
Look, I love Sevika, but I truly think that may happen... I hope I'm wrong, or that at least she's able to escape and, I don't know, maybe Vi searches for Sevika looking for information
Anyway, I just hope Arcane comes out soon so I can go and cry because of it
Just dumping my thoughts here
If Riot ever decides to do a show like Arcane using Bilgewater Background, I'm 100% sure Miss Sarah Fortune would be the protagonist - I mean, she literally has the perfect background for a show, and her character is hella interesting to work with
Also, Bilgewater is by far the funniest region you can expect to watch a series on- I mean, a pirates' land, lawless, governed by gold, petty fights, beverages, betrayals, talking fishes, big fishes, fucking big fishes, the living dead and gunpowder? What better background could we expect?
Also, Bilgewater's geography is actually mesmerizing.
I just want to add that this is VERY likely the Kiramman tent that is being attacked and where Vi is walking through the Chem tank blades
Most of the left shots are from the season 2 teaser trailer, the right shots being from episode 4. Either outside the tent for Piltover Progress Day or inside the tent for Jayce’s speech.
This is a very interesting place to be attacked given this was likely where the original hextech crystal and first attack on Piltover by Jinx took place which likely led to the downfall and attacks we see in the season 2 teaser trailer
three objectives
but what we are lead to belive are these objectives could not be... is possible its audio from sonewhere else if you pay attention the mouth lines up pretty well with "with three objectives" but then we dont actually see cait say and we arnt presented with numbering what we think they are - i know thats really picky but anything is possible -
anyway
capture jinx - *capture* that tells me keep her alive we want to hold to to justice. so why does it look like vi is fighting jinx to the death
dismantle shimmer - shimmer as we know it is a drug a substance but then why is is "dismantle" kinda makes me thing its Shimmer capital S an organization a new faction of zaun
and neutralize any agents still loyal to silco - neutralize not capture not dismantle

So do we all agree that Singed is probably Sevika's dad or is that still up in the air
Pssss did you see yhe new Arcane poster?👀 I don't recognize that Viktor
Yeeeeeeeeee
Ok so. Yeah.
This is definitely a shot of Viktor from season one. For one thing, his right hand is ungloved and is not augmented.
For another, his hair is shorter, closer to Act 1 than Acts 2 or 3.
Also, and very strangely, his crutch is on the wrong wide. But the mole above his lip is on the correct side, so it’s not a mirrored image.
Which leads me to the conclusion that this was probably photoshopped together from multiple images of him, possibly one where he was using his cane rather than the crutch, as he used the cane on the right side. Either that or they just thought, presentation-wise, that it looked better on the right and no one would notice (laughs in crazy obsessed bitch).
I’ve been scouring images from season one, and I haven’t yet pinpointed where this might be from. The only thing close is Viktor’s character poster from season one.
It has the shorter hair and almost the exact same expression (except in the new poster he’s looking at the camera).
Overall, I don’t think he’s going to look like this… at all in season 2. He’s going to have scars, he has to. Unless the Hexcore full on shielded him from Jinx’s rocket, which I suppose is a possibility. But mostly I think they threw together an old image of him to mislead us.
And my final thought that I will leave you with is this; thanks to the layering, we can’t see Jayce’s other hand. And I’d like to think…
