[10:17] you sigh stirring the liquid in your cup with a spoon, the Christmas music playing but it sounded like a blurred noise.

this was suppose to be your birthday party but turned out more like a party than a birthday. you were stuck in a corner wishing to leave but you knew the second you tried to leave they’d find out. you weren’t in the mood.

“hey!” hongjoon shouted over the noise sitting beside you with a smile before he glanced at your face. a frown settled on his face, wrapping an arm around your shoulder.

“it just feels like my birthday party was an excuse for a party, it sucks and for some reason it hurts,” you spoke loud after he asked you what was wrong. he sighs before standing up and sticking out a hand.

“let’s go.” you owlishly blinked at him before smiling softly and that’s how you were dragged out of that lame excuse of a party to spend a night with your best friend! hongjoon.
