You know what I just thought of? I feel like once Sasuke falls, it’s hard. Meaning he’s pissed — pissed he can’t get his head off of you, pissed that every time he hears your name, he gets drawn into memory after memory of your laugh, your smile, the way you twirl your kunai when you’re bored. He’s pissed he wants to spend more time with you than he has, that he aches to one day press his lips to yours. That one day you might acknowledge the feelings he so vehemently hides — denies. Every time he looks at your face he’s drawn into it, staring for far too long, especially at your expressive eyes and pretty lips. He loathes it but can’t help it. He thinks of it all the time — from when he wakes up, to when he falls asleep.

He can’t handle holding back anymore — he knows he’ll snap eventually. The only question is — when?
