Stiles and Theo are just such masters at mind games and figuring things out, I can only imagine what those two would accomplish if they had worked together. The absolute power...

Like imagine if after the finale Stiles and Theo met each other again, and Stiles sees that Theo has changed a lot for the better and is trying to atone for all the damage he did, and over time they become friends and start working together to solve cases and stop supernatural threats. They would be pratically unstoppable!

Thrown in Lydia with her vast knowledge and psychic abilities, along with Danny and his tech skills and you've got a top tier investigation and inteligence gathering team!

This is amazing! Thank you so much for making this! And Psye is a cool name for their detective agency, I liked it!

I see (lame joke I know), it's a very good idea. Psye sounds cool and has meaning behind it, I like it!

I want all of this in a fic too! Maybe I'll try writing it sometime!

Also, an RPG would be amazing! I think there are some systems that could be used for a campaign based on this concept, like Monster of the Week and Supernatural (based on the CW series). I never played either of those, sadly I never had the opportunity, but I got to read some parts of their manuals and the supplements for MotW, and from what I remember both of them seem really great for this kind of story!

I don't think it's my place and I can always delete this, but since I can't sleep (as always) may I perhaps interest you in a sort of maybe origin story of the AU (I decided not to reblog the whole thing again)?:D

Naturally, it's just my ideas, and you can always tell me if I'm being too much:D

So basically

Lydia, Stiles, Danny and Theo are studying different stuff in Pasadena (like Stiles in the FBI, Lydia studies Math, Danny - programming and Theo is probably in some kind of Medical thing, but to work on a lab, privacy analyzing things (like for crimes and stuff or in a hospital) or maybe working on medicaments and things (the first one actually comes from my AU where Isaak also worked in ER))

Stiles, Lydia and Danny rent an apartment together, and Theo lives with some roommate in the same building on a different floor mostly (ahm if he says so) accident, because he came into the city a year later after actually graduating, and it's not like he had the best relationships with the pack by the end of things, like not hostile, but there was a lot of room for improvement

But he did start therapy with (as if there's literally anyone else who we know could possibly help him) Morel (probably Kira who ended up having the best relationship with him through the year (and she didn't go to college yet) convinced him), now via Skype, so he generally gets better as a human

But now he doesn't really know how to communicate with new people without lying about his whole life and pretending, he's not used to it yet, the roommate was found also basically by accident

So Lydia (seeing a puppy in need) decides to take him under her wing (they sort of helped him as it was but we're not really close) and make sure he doesn't feel that lonely ("That's bot good for his mental state"), so she invites him to hang out with them, Stiles is a bit apprehensive about it at first, and Danny wasn't there for most of it, so he doesn't care that much. Slowly they all grow closer and all that, some particular TENSION is back in the game and everything

So they continue like this

And their contract for both of the apartments is ending, and Theo's roommate wants to move out to his partner's place, and Theo could afford a place himself, but he doesn't have THAT much money, considering he pays for a Med school

Luckily, by this time Lydia and Jackson's renewed now long-distance relationship evolved enough for Jackson to transfer to Pasadena (he studies something like economics or politics probably)

And initially they thought he'll just move in with Theo, but in the end Lydia and Jackson take Theo's apartment and Theo moves in with Stiles and Danny

It all goes alright, maybe something burns slowly, who knows

Then Brett calls, he needs a place to stay for a couple of days, there's something going on in the city, and some of the Alphas are concerned, so the called Satomi (as she's one of the most experienced Alphas in the state if not the country), maybe she knows what's up, and she sent Brett to take a look at the situation

Naturally, Stiles gets involved, with him Lydia gets too, and Theo helps with identifying the creature by the teeth marks

And Satomi and Brett honestly tell the Alphas that the main job was done by Stiles, Lydia and Theo, so next time they go straight to them

This time, however, they end up tugging Danny in for hacking purposes

And eventually it escalates to the point where they not only identify the creatures but also deal with them

And finally Jackson gets directly involved with paying for the guns and things they need for that (it's not BH but it is a big city plus they work for suburbs too)

So they go on, and once they get a call from a different city, pretty far, and they go there, and do their job

They get calls from places more and more distant, so eventually Lydia suggests the thing Stiles had thought about for a long time: just finally giving in and going on a roadtrip without a foreseeable end, maybe studying remotely (is this the right word?) if they can

And Theo and Jackson go without a question, and all together they manage to convince Danny (who wasn't fighting all too hard)

And somewhere in this Steo do starts dating, annoying Danny to no end

It's probably not the most comprehensible thing, considering it's 6:34 in the morning for me but well anyway I did this maybe now I'll calm down a bit:'D

This would make a great Steo AU!

Stiles takes the job, meets Theo, who is a ghost but Stiles dosen't know that yet, and the graveyard is cursed and exists like a limbo between this world and the afterlife, wich is why Theo can mannifest physically.

Stiles eventually figures all of this out and tries to find a way to help Theo, and also ends up discovering that Lydia, the girl that's always around the graveyard, is a Banshee trying to break the curse.

Since the place is a limbo, and Theo has a physical form in there (and maybe some other magic related reasons), they figure they could find a way to bring him back to life by pulling him back into the living world. During all of this Theo and Stiles fall in love, and in they bring Theo back and break the curse.

And now I'm adding this to the list of things I want to write! :)

This gives some Silent Hill vibes, I love it!

Following the SH line of thought, this made me think that there's a heavy fog all over the city, as well as an abyss around the entirety of the city limits, and even if Stiles and Theo found a way to cross it they would just end up on the other side of the town.

Maybe there's even a lake near the city, but it's impossible to leave through it too, the fog would just become thicker and when it started to clear a little they would just find themselves near the town again.

Ghosts could be the trapped souls people that never figured out how to leave, or were killed before making it out of there, and now they're stuck there, repeating some task over and over again, perhaps not even realizing they're dead, and sooner or later they all go crazy and become violent spirits.

The hunters and anyone else in the city, alive or ghost, could have ended up there like Stiles and Theo did, maybe by accident or driven to the town for some reason. Maybe Stiles and Theo were investigating something supernatural and in their searches found themselves there, and that cursed place sensed it could from all their traumas and pulled them into it's twisted, nightmarish dimension.

And the only way out is to fight their way through the manifestations of their traumas, their regrets and fears, as well as every crazy person and ghost around, and break the curse that's causing all of this.

Tara would definetly manifest as Theo's biggest fear, while Stiles's would either be the Nogitsune or a twisted version of his mother that accuses him of killing her. Pretty much their Pyramid Heads.

Sorry if this wasn't at all what you had you mind, I really liked your concept!

OK, hear me out.

Steo, nor yet friends and definitely far away from being lovers, get stuck in a mysterious small town. Full. Of. Ghosts.

Twist, they don't know it at first.

They just suddenly wake up in that town or get there somehow else.

They are the only ones there - so they think. But then they discover the ghosts, only ever a few appear together.

And hunters. They say it's their town. They are stuck there for ages now and gone mad by it.

Steo has to work together to find a way out of their misery and to get back home.
