I'm on my way home and the bag's been delivered im so excited!!!!!

Ok, so planning update!! (and what i got from amazon)

Let's start with what I ordered.

I got a Luigi hat, which I think I need to put something inside to give it a bit of a shape, because it's a bit flumpy on me.

I also got these gloves. However, as you can see, they're too big. So I'm gonna see if my dad or stepmom has any ideas for making it for better. I like the stripes at the back and the fact that I can use my phone with them. ye

Ok, now for the actual Poltergust plans.

The bag came with this insert, I think it's supposed to sit on the inside for the cat, buuut, I had another idea for it!!

I'm thinking I can attach it to the front to cover the three holes at the bottom, and for the panel for the green light thingy and switches.

Like that. (I'd add the other images I took to see the other sides, but I don't remember tumblr's image limit, and I'm already at six.)

There's also these holes on the upper sides. I'm thinking of adding a clasp on one of the sides, using them to hold it. That way, I can put the vacuum hose there so I can go hands-free like this.

And then that leaves the pocket here. This is only on one side, so I have to do a bit more thinking for this, but if I make a wheel to use as a cover, I can attach it with magnets maybe and still have access to the zipper. I don't know how sensitive opening the top will be, with everything on it, so I want to try to keep the alternative opening.

That is all of my plans and ideas so far. I still need to get advice for the vacuum hose and the button panel, especially.

Oh!! I also have this cardboard box the bag came in, that I can use. So I'm keeping it. Big box!

This isn't a proper update, but all of my stuff to go to dad's fits in this bag, and it makes me really happy!!

I'm gonna talk to him about my plans tonight and see if he has any ideas.

The turtle's name is Bennie, btw. For Benozzo. It's a Renaissance name, because I like the ninja mutant turtle teens.

Dad update!!

I talked to my dad and he'll help me! He gave me some sandpaper, and some ideas!! We also already have pvc pipe, but it's out back and really dark, so I'm gonna get it when I come back next weekend. The sandpaper is coarse grit, but it'll have to do because we couldn't find anything else. I'll just have to go lighter with it, to scuff it up a bit.

I've made a messy list of the things I'll need, which I have to update when I figure more stuff out.

Everything I'm confused about is the vacuum hose and the little panel, and I have time to figure all that out. Hopefully I'll get some ideas this weekend, before I run to the store. (or bug my mom into taking me to the store)

Hi hi!! Axton back with a minor Poltergust 5000 update!!

I went to the store and got spraypaint today!! So I can sand and paint the clear dome today!! It has been brought to my attention that I might need to get primer?? Dad said that just the sanding would be fine, and I have a top coat thing. But I want it to last, so I might go back and get a primer and some other stuff I think I need.

We were in a rush, so all I got were the paints and some tape.

So.. I don't know what I'm doing. I've never used spraypaint before. Buuut..

I've been at this for a while. I wore clothes that I don't mind paint getting on. It's going. It's dark outside, I don't know how many coats to do, and I lost my varnish. Soo things are going alright!

I did coat two, went slower this time so it's neater. I did touch it though because there was a leaf bit. I really hope I won't have to get another can..

So.. I don't know what I'm doing. I've never used spraypaint before. Buuut..

Upon further inspection: None of the tape stuck. Almost two hours of taping! I'm upset by this, but I'll figure something out.

Hello, I apologize about the lack of Luigi cosplay updates. The thing is, there are no updates. I am still wanting to work on the poltergust. However, I can not do that now, because life has taken over. (In a good way, I applied for college and I'm getting ready to move out) So the cosplay is being put on the backburner for the time being. My goal is to have it done for Halloween tho! And I will start posting about it again when I work on it!
