Summary: Reader and George meet as kids soon after she moves to Liverpool with her parents. Told throughout pieces of their childhood together, we see their friendship grow and the consequences of waiting too long.

Notes: This is my first Beatles fic so I am uhhh very nervous. Please let me know what you think! I’m really hoping to make this a few chapters long at least, and I’m gonna try my hardest to make it a slowburn but I’m impatient.

It was a press conference, the four of them sat at a table while reporters asked them all kinds of questions that they appeared to have no interest in answering. But you wanted to hear their answers, you wanted to hear his answers.
