Badge Quest - Tumblr Posts

Started a Badge Quest on Violet for some insane reason of Wednesday. Been doing it off and on and just got Phoenix here! Going to try and do the Klawf titan for my first badge to get speed, but realistically will have to settle for the bug gym if I don’t wanna overlevel.

Also time of taking picture, so around the time it took to get the shiny.

I almost started a Camp over him, but meet Clarence. Second Shiny of Badge Quest.

He had the uncommon mark and know I can actually get the Badge from the Titan Klawf (Phoenix did his best but he couldn’t beat Klawf alone, so he took his rage out on bugs.)

And only about an hour and a half between Fletchling! Might try to go for a third shiny later, but I already been blessed enough with today.

Maybe I wasn’t so insane for starting this.

Meet Hattie! Third shiny of Badge Quest. Named by my friend @isla-river-heavens. Not the best shiny in all of Pokémon. Almost missed it but Hunter (the starter I use to keep my shiny Pokémon from over leveling during hunting) refused to fight it. Was just about to quit for the day too.

About 8 hours and 20 minutes since Clarence the Slowpoke. A bit more realistic of a hunt but still lucky I say. Gonna try the next titan. Should be an easy one, although RNG might kick my butt.

Meet Cotten Candy! Fourth shiny of badge quest. Only got her in one sandwich as well, was hunting for less then an hour day as she just appeared.

That’s about how much time it’s been sense the last shiny. Hadn’t hunted on here for a few days I was working on art and fanfics. So yea. Really quick shiny game time wise.

Meet Aqua-Chu. 5th Shiny of Badge Quest and was Full Odds! I normally do outbreaks because I’m not that crazy, but one I was attempting to see what Pokémon it was wasn’t showing it. Not sure if it’s a case of a day-only Pokémon. But Aqua just popped up and I panicked, lol

Not even an hour of gameplay time after getting Cotten Candy! However, based on when I got my first two shiny Pokémon for the quest, means I have a longer hunt in front of me. Oh boy.

Also She’s Adamant and had the ability Huge Power. Fear her.

Meet Siren. 6th shiny of Badge Quest. Also my character is totally dead.

We’re now at one full days worth of shiny hunting! And almost five hours since Aqua-Chu. Not that bad.

Meet Anamund! 7th shiny of Badge Quest. Why did I name it that? @a-crash-in-time-collection Chapter 29. Hate how it took so long to name the thing in that chapter but it had a name now. Yes I know this self promotion won’t work lol.

Just barely eleven hours since Siren. Gameplay at least. There was more time hunting but my game crashed through one of the hunts so that time was gone. But man, this drove me insane. But I guess that’s what I signed up for lol.

Meet Minecraft! 8th Shiny of Badge Quest! Full odds as well! Wasn’t even as likely to spawn because of the sandwich I was using for the outbreak of Swablu, but he showed up.

And only about an hour and half worth of game time after finding the gold fish! Nice to be back on thing kind of pace, but I know it won’t last long lol.

Meet Grant! 9th Shiny of Badge Quest. For why I named him that, Au reasons. Really been wanting a Vaporeon for a play through team but I always pick the water starter, and every time I get a shiny Eevee I end up keeping it as an Eevee because of evolution worries. So this was a nice surprise! Was annoying to catch tho, put up a good fight.

And less then an hour of gameplay after getting Minecraft! Really lucky there!

Meet Chemist! 10th Shiny of Badge Quest. Got her right as dawn came as well, so got plucky there.

Almost two hours of gameplay since Grant. Been busy this week so hadn’t had much time to hunt. Will do some more tomorrow.

Also thinking of the time I was in a shiny alpha consent and got the set spawn alpha one as the while Tiller joked something along the lines of ‘Would you guys really jump of a cliff for that’. While I was on a cliff. Good times.

Meet Goldrush. 11th shiny of Badge Quest. Was torn between this and another target but I decided the other one can wait another time. Plus getting the speed gal will save my mental state later.

Yea we had stuff to do yesterday so I wasn’t able to get any hunting done like I said I would. But hey, there’s the weekend!

Meet Gem-Shards. 12th shiny of Badge Quest. And the first (and hopefully last) shiny I lost and had to reset the game to get. Was so worried it wouldn’t be there at first. But he’s safe now!

And about three and a half hours worth of gameplay since Goldrush. A bit longer then some of my hunts but far from the worst.

Meet Audrey! 13th shiny of Badge Quest and full odds! Just barely caught her out off he corner of my eye. Got her while watching Tiller too!

Just a little over an hour and a half sense Gem-Shards as well.

Meet Trace. 14th Shiny of Badge Quest and Full Odds! I almost went by her because I was hunting a Bronzong outbreak and she just. Spawned with a pack. Had to send out my Pokémon to double check.

Just about an hour and ten minutes since Audery. Who was also full odds. While doing a steel type outbreak.

I have no idea what’s going on.

Meet Forbidden. 15th shiny of Badge Quest. So many of these spawn in the walls so I was worried she would as well. So worry I almost missed her lol.

And just over the two day total mark! In gameplay that is. Is this lucky?

Meet Big-Boi. 16th shiny of Badge Quest. Don’t ask why I named him that. Stuff was on my mind. Also my eyes hurt during the day hunting this guy.

Just a little over three hours since Forbidden. It’s crazy to think the quest is almost over. Seems like the game is giving me longer hunts so I can stay lol.

Meet Lunar. 17th Shiny of Badge Quest. It’s.. almost over. On the day the next Camp Yoha was announced. It feels like this Badge Quest been prepping me for it. But still.

About an hour and a fourth after Big-Boi. Man.. This feels crazy. I have no idea what the final Pokémon will be...

Met Jet. 18th Shiny is Badge Quest. It’s... Over.

Still need to beat the game but that’s not happening tonight. But still, it’s crazy. Thought Pokemon Home would be out by the time I finish lol.

And just a little over two hours since Lunar... Less then three days of gameplay time total of shiny hunting. There were times the game crash and stuff so a bit longer but still.

Been a trip.
