Barbie says she isn't beautiful, and they jokingly say that the line would be better if Marget Robbie wasn't the one saying it.

That's how it is. Nothing changed about Barbie aside from her view of herself. How the other Barbies reacted to her new aliments

The same way society deems women ugly as they age. And women reflect that on their self worth.

Barbie isn't any uglier than she was at the start, but because of a few uncontrollable changes, she believes she is. She is not perfect, therefore ugly.

This entire movie already goes over the experience of being woman, but I haven't seen anyone talk about this and I think it's so so important.
