I love how Polly cares for basil even after his grandma dies, it’s so sweet how she’s a mother figure to basil bc his actual parents are literally never around (or they’re dead idk I like to think they just don’t care) I love basil guys, he’s literally my son, I have adopted him bc i can. ok how the fuck did basil know how to tie a noose anyway?? He’s like- what 12 years old by the time the incident happens, and his most logical response is to MAKE MARI’S ACCIDENTAL DEATH LOOK LIKE A SUICIDE. That is not how a mentally well child thinks. And again with the noose, how did he know how to tie that thing huh?? I think, as we know he doesn’t have a good relationship with his parents, they are either dead or just never around, I think they weren’t around, and with his only family being his ill grandmother and his grandmother’s caretaker, he was probably very lonely. And well, I think he would’ve faced bullying in school, and combined with feeling like he had no one to talk too(before meeting Aubrey and stuff) he was probably depressed, and even after he find friends and stuff, I still feel like he would feel depressed,due to bullying and possibly other things. Not to mention the fact that he does k/ll himself in one of the endings. My sweet sweet baby boy AHHH😭😭😭
