honestly i just wanted and excuse to share designs from the IFI because they do such a good job at traditional and contemporary fashion design without compromising modesty which does not happen in western fashion halima aden had to quit the industry bc they kept trying to put her in skimpy stuff with a hijab on and like idk how to tell y’all that slapping a hijab on skin tight western fashion is not as inclusive as you think it is but this is a great example of fashion that’s made by and for muslim women and i love it
