But yeah, Happy Pride Month!! I wanted to draw these two for the occasion because they're one of my favourite queer ships ever!
A little story time here (sorry feel free to skip), but I've been an Adventure Time fan since 2016 and I watched the finale three years later. At the time, I was just discovering my identity and when I watched Marcy and PB kiss, it was honestly kinda incredible to me! I would draw Bubbline fanart all the time and I was so excited to watch Obsidian, I watched it over and over again because in my head it really reaffirmed the fact that it is okay for me to like women! :D
Now, I'm openly bisexual and I look back on the memories of self discovery rather fondly. It makes me so happy to know that LGBTQ rep in the media is headed in a positive dimension, and I can definitely vouch for the fact that seeing yourself being represented on screen is so important to so many people!
