super late but here’s a very specific ship dynamic i’ve been obssessed with recently

watched Belle a few days ago and I still cant stop thinking about it (already watched it twice lol). the songs live rent free in my head!!! both english and japanease va's killed it

but there are some things that i didnt like: (spoilers!)

Belle's and Beast's relationship was reeeally rushed (i love "lend me your voice" its an amazing song and a beautiful scene but it felt like kinda sudden)

Suzu just leaving the kids with their abusive father just ????? (well at least thats what i think heppened because they DONT SHOW WHAT HAPPENS AAAA)

Justin's obsession with the Beast doesnt meke much sense to me, like i get that he is a parallel to kei and tomo's father obssesion to controll everything but idk...

i tought that like Kei and Tomo were going to live with Suzu and her father and be like a cute found family helping each other to heal.... i just love found family yk

but overall i really liked this film! it has a beautiful message about grief, empathy and accepting who you truly are

the best song/scene definetly is "a million miles away" the song is fucking amazing, the lyrics are *chefs kiss*, and Suzu finally understending why her mother helped a completly stranger and realizing shes doing the same thing and and everyone singing along with Suzu to encourage her to keep singing.... its just beautiful

other two scenes that i liked were the one that Luka confessed to Chikami, it was funny and cute, and the one at the end where Suzu finds her dad and tells him that she wants to have dinner made me emotional (also her talk with him at the train was good)

AND ITS JUST SOOOO PRETTY LIKE JUST LOOK AT IT!!
