(Christmas Day Imagine)

Billy x Fem!Harrington!reader

Warnings: none

Word count: 1,602

Summary: Y/n is Steve’s twin sister and is dating Billy. Their mom tells Y/n she can invite Billy over for Christmas. Steve’s not happy about it but Y/n and Billy are.

Authors Note: I don’t know Steve’s parents’ names so I just put y/m/n & y/f/n. So I was thinking of making this a multiple parter. A series. Like this would be part 1 and then part two would be him asking his dad and then a dinner at his, and then maybe apart 3 showing the actual Christmas day at Y/n’s. Would you babes like to read them? “I’m so damn happy we’re finally on Christmas vacation.” Billy let out as he fell back onto Y/n’s bed. It was finally winter break. No school and all free time. Of course on the downside, Billy had to be home more. That being one of the only things Billy liked about school, it got him out of the house for 8 hours at least.

Luckily for him, he has Y/n. An she has been there for him through a lot. He confided in her about Neil’s abuse. She gave him a chance when everyone else only saw the persona he put up. The womanizer bad boy.

It was shocking to both of them that they got along so well. With Steve being her brother and him and Billy as everyone in Hawkins knows don’t get along. Steve hates whenever Billy came over to the house, especially when their parents were home. Their parents absolutely loved Billy and that made Steve’s blood boil. He thought he’d at least get the Hargrove boy away from his home when their parents were home.

Neither Y/n or Steve really cared all that much about their parent’s opinions on basically anything. But it completely irked Steve that their dad seemed to really enjoy spending time with the mullet-haired boy, and their mom dotted on him. They were always working and never home. Y/n understood that they were never around at a young age, even though Steve tried to hide it for as long as possible from her. Their parents didn’t care all that much about them that was clear in Steve and Y/n’s minds. But it didn’t matter to Y/n just as long as it meant Billy could still come over while they were home. On the rare occasion.

“Me to does your family have any plans?” Y/n asked as she joined him on her bed, laying on her stomach.

Billy shook his head reaching a hand up to stroke her cheek. “Nope. Staying right here in this shit town this year.”

Y/n smiled at him resting up on her forearms. “Well, that just gives us more free time together.”

“Damn right.” Billy smirked pulling her into a series of kisses. The two continued to make out until a knock came from her bedroom door.

“Come in.” Y/n spoke loudly moving to put a few inches of space between them. She knew it was most likely her mother and once the door opened she was proved right.

“Hello, Billy.” Y/m/n greeted as she entered the bedroom. She already knew he was at the house having seen and heard his car earlier.

“Hi, Mrs. Harrington.” Billy greeted her back as he moved to sit up a little.

“Staying for dinner Billy?” she asked as she set down Y/n’s clean clothes on her daughters’ dresser.

“I’d love to.” Billy smiled at his girlfriends’ mother as the older woman turned around to face the two teens.

Y/n’s mom nodded with a smile towards her daughters’ boyfriend before she left the room again. Shutting the door behind her. Y/n turned back to look at Billy. “My mom love’s you. Then again you have that effect on moms.”

“Yeah, but the difference is your mom doesn’t like me the way Mrs.Wheeler and her friends do.” Billy smirked wiggling his eyebrows to tease her.

“Thank God she doesn’t. An we don’t speak of that.” Y/n gagged distraught at the reminder before poking Billy in the chest. Billy laughed at her reaction, it was exactly what he thought he would get. He to agreed that it was a blessing that his girlfriends’ mom was what seemed to be the only mom in Hawkins not drooling over him. That would be very awkward.

“Your father seems to like me.” Billy spoke moving to lay on his back, putting his weight on his forearms.

Y/n nodded agreeing with his statement. She doesn’t really care what her parents think they haven’t been very parently in her life anyway. Y/n just cared how Billy treated her, that’s what mattered. “He likes you enough. For him.”

“Your brother on the other hand, hate’s me.” he stated reaching one hand to stroke her arm before deciding to pull her to straddle his lap.

“And you hate my brother. It’s a circle.” she smiled leaning down a little bit so she could connect their lips.

“I heard you’re staying for dinner.” Steve said from the doorway.

It’s startled Y/n a bit having been so engrossed in kissing Billy she hadn’t heard her brother open the door. Y/n groaned at being interrupted again, which made Billy chuckle. Normally he was the one doing that.

“Yup.” He switched his attention towards the door answering Steve. All the while rubbing his hands on Y/n’s hips smirking at her brother.

Steve rolled his eyes in annoyance at Hargrove’s actions and words confirming what Steve heard. It was apparent by his sister not moving off of Billy that his presence wasn’t going to change anything Steve decided to leave them alone again. He had walked in on both of them almost naked before and that was as much as he ever wanted to see. An he didn’t even want to have that burned into his mind like it is.

“Dinner’s gonna be interesting.” Y/n giggled against Billy’s lips.

“So Billy your family have any plans for the holidays?” Mr. Harrington asked the Dirty blonde boy at the dinner table. It was slightly awkward for Steve and y/n having both parents at dinner. Normally they were always gone or out.

“No sir. No plans this year.” Billy answered trying to be as respectful as possible. He didn’t have the best relationship with ihs but he wanted to have Y/n’s at least like him. Billy didn’t plan on ever letting Y/n go, so he felt like he needed to have her family at least like him. Plus it bothered Steve and that was always a bonus.

Which is exactly why Steve had been glaring at him all night. Steve scoffed, rolling his eyes at Billy’s manner.

“Why don’t you join us then.” Mr. Harrington suggested after thinking for a moment. He had his own suspicions on why Billy was always over and maybe the kid needed a break from home during the holiday.

“That’s a great idea dear.” Their mother agreed, smiling at Billy. Steve couldn’t believe what he was hearing. Now Billy was gonna be overall winter break?! “We have a big dinner and play with the family on Christmas day. We’d love to have you be a part of it.” she added hoping to be able to introduce her daughters’ sweet boyfriend to the family.

“I’ll have to ask my father but I’m sure he wouldn’t mind.” With Billy mentioning his father Y/n moved her hand over to hold his under the table.  A silent reminder that she was there for him.

The rest of dinner went by well. It wasn’t but 30 minutes before everyone finished eating. Steve and Y/n’s parents went to the kitchen to clean up, Steve went to the living room to watch tv. All the while Y/n and Billy headed back up to her bedroom. Once the two were fully in the room with the door shut Y/n scoffed.

“Sure my father wouldn’t mind, my ass. He can’t wait to get rid of you, especially during holidays.” She grumbled anger at how his father treats him. Her parents might not be around but they didn’t kick them out or hit them. “Last year you spent Christmas day alone in your car just driving around.”

“Susan does the big stuff on Christmas Eve. On Christmas day my dad doesn’t want me around. Say’s I’ll ruin the day.” Billy shrugs looking down at the colored rug, not wanting to admit how much it hurt to say out loud.

Y/n shook her head grabbing his hand, interlacing their fingers together. “That’s not true.”

“Its not true to you because you care about me.” Billy said as he squeezed her hand. Looking up from the floor to her eyes. “He doesn’t.”

Y/n yanked him down to sit at the foot of her bed with her before stating. “Well, I care about you enough that his opinion doesn’t need to matter at all.”

“I love you.” Billy stated smiling at her adoring that he had somehow got her all to himself. He had no idea why she cared about him so much but he was determined to be worthy of her. Be better for her cause he didn’t want to ever lose her.

“I love you too.” she smiled back at him, eyes filled with adoration towards the boy beside her.

“Now I have Christmas plans.” he smirked raising a hand to the nape of her neck.

Y/n laughed tilting her head back into his hand. “Guess Susan came in handy, huh? You wouldn’t be able to come over here if she didn’t celebrate on Christmas Eve.”

“Yeah, I guess. Now can we just stop talking about my asshole father and his wife and make out?” Billy asked gently pulling her closer to him.

“I’m cool with that.” Y/n nodded biting her lip in anticipation. They did indeed start kissing hungrily. But in the back of his mind and hers, they both knew that he indeed would probably have to ask Neil if he could come over. Let’s just hope he says yes.
