Vikings ask who is hvitserk favourite brother

i’m divided between saying Ivar and Ubbe.. my heart says Ivar (because of the dynamic we see on screen - Alex and Marco friendship kind of ‘flowed’ through the two characters) ; but my head tells me it’s Ubbe.

Of course Hvitserk jumped ship, but, in my opinion, he changed his mind because he admired Ivar and his ‘Viking way of thinking’. Hvitserk wanted to prove himself, and what better to do that than to follow Ivar the fucking boneless who just wanted to fight and raid. So I don’t think Hvitserk jumped ship because he particularly wanted to be with Ivar, but more because he wanted to demonstrate his strength.

And when you think about it, Hvitserk first choice was Ubbe. His first instinct was to follow Ubbe ; not Ivar (that might be because Ivar is a bit… u know… goofy).

Also, Hvitserk and Ubbe literally shared a wife? To be able to do that you have to hold so much trust, respect and love for one another. You don’t just agree to do that with anyone.

Now, I don’t have an actual answer because I’m really unsure. So tell me what you guys think!

little update after some thinking :

i myself have siblings, and I will be honest, I wouldn’t for the life of me be able to choose a favourite. my relation which each one of them is so different and I feel like it’s the same with Hvitserk and his brothers (and probably for you too if you have siblings).
