I was scrolling through tiktok when I was reminded of this scene. I think this scene was the best representation of Izzy's doomed romance with Edward. Just Izzy looks so happy when Edward grabs him so roughly, touching his face like he's perfect when in reality he's unstable and taking it out on Izzy. He's grown to thrive on Ed hurting and neglecting him, because to Izzy that's the only way Edwards ever going to love him, Even if Izzy loves him in a reverent way. (Like how he mentions he'd die for Ed)

I really hope he gets to grow out of this understanding of love and get the positive attention from Edward that he clearly craves.

Imagine if Edward and Izzy met when they were around 16-18 and everyone always thought Izzy was older when in reality Edward was about 2-5 years older than him and it would make younger Izzy so flustered.

Then as they got older he prided himself in how much older he looked than the rest of the crew, he seemed more wise. When in reality he's Atleast a year younger than the core crew of blackbeards ship.

I can't stop posting about this guy omg.

I've been thinking about all the scenes of Izzy and Stede, and I like many others believe theirs going to be some sort of mentor and pupil thing going on, I really hope we get some crazy ass sexual tension. Like I want Stede pausing during a sword training and stare at Izzy. Saying some sappy shit like. "Oh I didn't realize ____ about you" and Izzy just freezes and stares at Stede like 'what' because no one but Edward cared enough to stare at him. And that Izzy's problem with being Edwards guard dog that can't seem to leave him transfers too Stede instead. I'd love to see a meetup between Stede, Izzy and Edward where Edward calls Izzy his 'first mate' and theirs a pause, 'your still mine Izzy' and Stedes like 'i think he belongs to my crew now, he's my first mate.' Like ajd sjabdkabsiaai pls transfer custody of the wet rat and made Edward regret leaving.

I don't know if this counts as 'horny posting'

But I think my favorite Edward x Izzy or stede x izzy trope is Guard dog Izzy that gets knocked down a peg one day by Ed/stede (bonus points if that's sexually) and suddenly he's just so quiet and nice too the crew for a bit and their all more scared of the calm Izzy.

Then next time Izzy snaps at someone Ed/stede just looks at him from across the ship and Izzy straightens the fuck back up and apologizes putting the whole crew in shock.

God I have so many thoughts and ideas for the new season coming out in *checks watch* 4 DAYS.

So let's try and get some more out

1. Stedes ship

This man is heartbroken oh my god. Edward, lots of fighting, and overall piracy that took place while Stede was gone ruined the fantasy ship that it once was. And I think this scene is going start with Stede wanting to fix the ship into its original way and pretending it's fine till he breaks down and resigns to the fact that his ship won't be the same and he'll have to rebuild it a new way. That him, his dream, and his ship will never be the same again.

2. THE NAVY???

Bro. EXCUSE ME??? We're getting lots. Of scenes with Izzy and mr. No nose and I can't even start to speculate TF is going on. I don't remember if Izzy talked about the nazy before, but if I'm wrong does he have a connection with them? Is he going to fakeout partner with them and then turn them against each other? This is one of the scenes I'm most confused but excited about.

3. Possible bar fight??

I want to see Stede fuck somebody up. I hope in this scene he stands up and like tackles a fucker too the ground. That'll be amazing.

Anyways that's about it for now, as I bing the first season 2 days before the 5th I'll probably have more ideas.

I changed my mind from my last Edward post

I'm currently an Edward hate page till we get some sort of actual apology from this dude. Because as a person who's lived through multiple. MULTIPLE. Abusive relationships ranging from months to years of abuse this is not an excuse to hurt, almost kill and destroy people. Edward is a fictional character yes and I will not hate on anyone who likes him (I still like him a bit myself) but good Lord I want to punch/beat the shit out of this Fucking cunt.

Like seriously dude you get slightly dumped once and you almost kill like 30 people. AMD HE'S IGNORING STEED SO LIKE HE'S JUST FEELING SORRY FOR HIMSELF WHAT THE FUCK.

Yes stedes not a good person himself and played with eds emotions but atleast people are throwing that in his face and he's starting to realize it! He's grown from the first season and cares about his crew enough to almost die for them!! You cannot tell me that Stede is a bad person then go and love on Ed. AMD DON'T GWT ME STARTED ON IZZY. he does not deserve the hate he receives. Edward needs to get his shit together over this season good Fucking lord.

As a connector to my other post I'm gonna delete all hate comments (especially about Izzy) because sorry I insulted your pretty boy Edward but Izzy's not that bad. Your just pressed.

So. I wanted to relook at this picture

I believe this is after Jim says "you never know when your in the good old days" and it's a very cute community scene. Everyone's happy and together sharing smiles and talking.

But Izzy's not, Izzy's in the background you can just barely see him over wee johns shoulder. Izzy doesn't have the "good old days". He didn't have that connection and that community and he's just watched it from afar and that's. HEARTBREAKING WTF. Like they could have added him in the picture but it wouldn't have been true to how it actually was, he never joined their group activities because he's not "part of the group". He might be part of the ship, but he's not included in the fun.

I really hope we get a parallel to this scene where Izzy apart of the picture. He deserves to not be in the background.

Guys this is spoiler free thus far but. I. I don't forgive Ed but I just really want him Stede and Izzy to be okay. I want them to find love in each other so bad. Izzy deserves actual closer, Stede deserves to not just be a whim and Edward deserves a place where he can change.

More spoilers for season 2 EPS 4-5

Revisiting the Edward talk. I really do stand to what I said before. Edwards the product of a cycle of abuse and a man who couldn't listen to others. Though I believe it was a bit fast paced on screen I'm really excited on him actually changing.

Him offering to let lucuis push him overboard was a nice step, and I hope that it both cleared his and lucuis consciousness.

The conversation with fang I do hope made Edward realize that he's been seeing things wrong for a long while now, and now he'll look at things he thought were okay and re evaluate them.

I hope we get scenes with all the rest of the crew, ESPECIALLY Frenchie, Jim and Archie. They deserve some Fucking punches on Edward.

Though. I think the man I want Edward to reconcile with the most is Izzy. Izzy's causing some problems for himself and I can tell. But I think the only way he can fix them is with Edward. And I do really hope they both can work their shit out, with or without Stedes help.

Edward deserves love, but he also deserves to pay for the shit he did too the crew. Baby steps at a time, but just like Buttons, we can all change.

So stupid thought that I keep having of these two

I feel that both Izzy and Stedes way of trying to get the other to love them would (IS) being extra showy in front of them. Stede obviously does this to Edward in season 1 but not he seems to be doing it alot to Izzy. While Izzy showed off by being strong and putting the crew to order for Edward but now tries to do a similar thing to Stede.

Both are peacocking to each other of how strong or useful they can be. Stede shows Izzy his new clothes first, Izzy holds a brave face and directs the crew to follow stedes shenanigans.

Though I'm sure gentlebeard is end game, you can't deny that Izzy and Stede are doing the same thing they've done to Ed before and theirs gotta be something there.

I'm posting this before I watch the new episodes.

I have multiple ideas of what could happen in episodes 6/7

1. Izzy and wee John comfort scene where wee John thinks he's not pretty or fit for the dress he has and Izzy gives him a pep talk

2. I'm gonna think of the royal pony wedding from MLP atleast twice in the drag episode

3. Stede and Ed necking like teens after Stede gets hurt because they realize that they've almost lost each other so many times

4. Alternatively, after the drag show thingy Stede and Ed get drunk and do dumb shit then wake up in the morning like "oh shit we said we'd take it slow-"

5. Lucuis and Pete need to kiss during the drag show. Pls.pls.pls.

6. Jim getting help from Olu or Archie with their mustache that they have drawn on (Fucking love that for them)

7. Stede possibly getting new outfits for everyone at a port because OMG they wanna wear fancy stuff??? Yes please (Alternatively they all secretly got fancy stuff to surprise Stede maybe?)

8. Symbolism between Izzy, Stede and Edward with the red hibiscus's

9. Edward sobbing his eyes out whenever Stede gets hurt??? Yes pls.

10. SWEDE BEING SO IN LOVE WITH JACKIE (his Fucking outfit is gonna make me scream I love it)

11. Jackie and zheng looking at Stede and Edward like 🤢 anytime they try to be cute together when they team up

12. Ricky pulling the 'you lead me down this path! You're at fault for/ why I lost my nose / or /why I became this way/ and Stede being like "??? What??"

I have so many more ideas but I'm going to leave this as the list for now.

Also I know I'm gonna cry when Izzy sings. I Fucking know it and I plan to post a drawing of me crying over it tomorrow.

First before I rant about my ship. I would like to complement Con O'Neill again on his singing. I truely loved it. He sings beautifully and I will be listening to him sing that over and over again over the next month. I already have today haha :3

But now the shipping-

Izzy was singing about Stede and Edward. Either he was singing about them together, or him with them but he was singing about them and no one can change my mind.

I mean the song is about seeing love in a naive way, through rose tinted glasses and not being able to really see someone's flaws. Sure Izzy might be an asshole but he still tried to only see the best in Edward. Izzy saw Edward with rose tinted glasses until they were ripped off of him and all he could see was red.

And with Stede, as we see in episode 7 he has the capability to be just as bad as Edward. He can kill, he's egotistical, he can destroy without a care. But he seems to have enough self reflection to know when it's too much. Izzy never saw that before, and now the glasses are back because he's starting 5o like Stede in the saw way he loved Edward.

I might be delusional but I have a fanfic in the midst because holy shit. That singing was beautiful and I haven't stopped thinking about it since.

I feel like I'm just delusional and I'm reading way too into this scene and it's not that deep but.

Is it just me or does Edward look.. sad? Like not just nervous but also upset

But Stede has just killed a man, he was going off adrenaline and Edward did want Stede. He did love him and maybe at some point he'd want something like this. Fireworks in the background and the spirit of a party still with them. But this wasn't the time. They were taking is slow but THIS wasn't taking it slow! This was too fast for him.

Maybe he realized that this wasn't taking it slow. He loves Stede and wants this with him and everything seems perfect, stedes happy. But Stede seems different and not himself and this isn't slow. And what if Edward didn't just suddenly decide that it wa

Not at all saying Stede forced him. I'm very sure Edward had fun, especially with Happy he was in the morning with Stede.

But I think Edwards knew that this was too fast the moment it was happening. He didn't just decide after the bar that it had been too fast. It was in the back of his mind the whole time.

Look. I get why it happened. I get why he died.

He wouldn't have left Edward or stedes side but not being on the sea would have killed him.

The only way for Edward to truely move on from piracy was if Izzy was to leave or die. And I guess they decided that now was the time. I'm happy for all the moments we got with him.

I think that Edward and Stede living so close to him is really touching too.

Yes this sucks ass but please don't attack any writers.

But I made something that's been stuck in my head

A tribute to my comfort character and the unicorn of the revenge

Candles were scattered around the grave, placed with care, their flickering flames casting a soft glow. In the stillness of the night, The soft humming of a love song only heard once, and the rich smell of food. Tonight. Was Izzy's birthday. Ed had remembered, looking down to Izzy's ring he now wore. He hoped he'd always remember.

Stede, who also, understood the significance of preserving the memory of izzy, had framed and hung the first mates scarf on the wall, out for everyone to see.

Their pain was shared, but still fresh, even seven months after Izzy's departure.

Seven months of no ship. No Izzy. Nothing but Stede and the Inn. And it still didn't feel real. Nothing felt truely real yet. Not without Izzy.

So here Edward and Stede sat, careful of the flowers Stede had planted. Soft blues, dark purples and vibrant reds. Telling dead ears about their day. About How the shop was picking up since the crew had left. How Stede was trying too see his kids.

"I can cook now!" He told Izzy, happily over his sniffling. Stede was more of the crying type than Edward ever was, but he also found his own eyes pricked with tears. As they spoke and laughed savoring spoonfuls of stew. He couldn't help but wonder if Izzy would have liked the stew he prepared, despite the impossibility of him tasting it

The Revenge had recently docked near the inn, and old and new faces visited to say hello and pay their respects to Izzy. Gifts of all kinds, exotic seashells, glittering gemstones, and trinkets from distant lands, adorned the gravesite, a testament to the profound impact Izzy had on all those who had crossed paths with him and heard the tales of his life.

Fang left one of the first gifts, a belt that Izzy gifted him forever ago. Then Jim left a knife with an X tattoo etched into it, a reminder of their shared adventures. Frenchie contributed a song, carefully written and tucked into a box. Lucius placed a small crystal-looking shark that he had found, each offering a piece of their hearts to Izzy. All were sure if he could, he'd tell them to fuck off.

They still sat in the inn now, sharing those storys with patrions. Izzy would be with them. He told his storys too. Through the crew. The first mate with the golden leg. Heart of iron.

Edward wished. Regretted. Not loving that heart sooner.

But their shared memories were a timeless tribute to the unforgettable friend, lover, first mate they had lost. He lived on in their storys.

He was never forgotten.
