note: these are my personal headcannons of about when the events of the show during the yellowjackets’ time stranded in the wilderness took place. the summaries do not include all information from the episodes, just the parts that are important to help define how the team’s survival strategies change over time and general canon events. these estimates are, of course, viable to change overtime as i consider things and/or when other canon information comes out. (season two, interviews, etc) i’ve marked where laura lee dies and the information stops being important to read for my portrayal, but feel free to read beyond that. please do not steal these dates, if you would like to use then, like … idk ask me? or something? i’d be so honored to let you! bolded is canon information that we are given, everything else is either a summary of canon events or a person headcannon/estimate or time by me.

i think. the moment that the plane doesn't work when she goes to find help, her faith and her hope begins to dwindle. and it's definitely a slow dwindle but it is one. there's a bit of embarrassment as well, i'd imagine, but for the most part, she's still clinging to what she thinks is god's plan, and they just have to keep fighting because god picked them for this battle and it will make them stronger. i think lottie's visions growing darker also effects her faith, because she cannot fathom why the lord would be showing her things that torment her, and it no longer seems like a gift. she persists with it even through their food supply running out, because they are still alive and winter is still coming and they need prayer now more than ever. at this point i think she's very detached from the other girls bar lottie, and while she's continuing to help as much as she can and then some, she barely ever talks unless it's to god. by the time of doomcoming hits, she's completely lost. she continues to pray, obsessively, but takes whatever lottie says as holy truth, pretty much, because she thinks lottie is her only line to god left. so when lottie agrees to the party, she does too, though she doesn't plan on drinking but she isn't vocal against it. (part of me is like. would she try to bless the wine and turn it to the blood. she thinks she's holy enough to administer a baptism what's next) she attends doomcoming for lottie and for the hope that god will see her faith still prevailing and listening to his prophet even through uncertainty. even though she's like. very depressed and they all are of course, but this isn't quite as much as a pick me up for her? she doesn't enjoy dressing up as much, especially as everyone keeps making jokes about it being the last party before they all die. she wears her yellow dress and twists leaves into her hair, but she's not as into it as the other girls. after unintentionally eating the shrooms in the stew, laura lee hallucinates several doom-y and end-of-days stories from the bible, but instead of biblical figures, it's happening to her and her friends. it feels like a dream she cannot escape, and she reacts similarly to javi, laying there, paralyzed as she experiences a trip that would be bad for someone who was used to the affects of psilocybin, let alone laura lee, who has never done anything close, or anything at all. when she's able to move again, it's night and all she can hear is the sound of wolves and she fears that the devil is calling to her because she had begun to give up on the lord. still tripping, she thinks the wolves are coming for her and her friends (the sheep) and her fears are only solidified when she hallucinates the passed out bodies of her friends on the ground as corpses. she is never the same after that night, heavily affected by the shrooms and traumatized by what she saw. laura lee experiences flashbacks to that night nearly every day after, especially the days directly after, which puts her pretty out of it the day jackie gets kicked out of the cabin and dies thereafter. she is snapped out of the trance-like state she had fallen into when she hears shauna's screams that morning, and she knows then that jackie is dead and thought a wolf had eaten her. what laura lee didn't realize, is that they were all becoming the wolves.
