Agreed. If you protest vote, you’re proving you show up at the polls. If you don’t, you just get lumped into the people who don’t care, same as the people who’ve had their ability taken away do.

I really do think people who are just choosing to sit out this election might as well be Trump supporters. If you're protest voting at least you're participating in democracy. Yes this system is flawed and broken but we need active participants, not people who can't do the bare minimum preaching about how the system is broken.

Vote, but vote third party. If you don’t vote at all, you get rolled into the apathetic blob nobody has to care about, and your voice goes unheard.

Also, vote in local elections. Even if all your politicians are shit, which is unlikely, there’s ballot initiatives to pass or shoot down.
