kdrama the red sleeve just finished ep 15 i really want to like this show and i did but the fairy palace was so far out of left field really made this badass lady and then had her whole agenda being jealous of another lady for smth that wasn't even her fault you telling me she really spent 50 years plotting revenge and kidnapping girls to be assassins for the son of the lady she was jealous of what the absolute fuck the actual history would have hit way harder than this fantastical little sideplot don't get me started on yi san and hong deok ro never thought I'd want to smack yi san as hard as I did hong deok ro but here we are hong deok ro was a sob and a sob to the end but i actually! felt a bit of pity for him when he died but fucking yi san alright we can't hold 16th century people to 21st century ideals that's definitely true and I'll acknowledge that he's the king sure he can do whatever he wants and sure deok im gets away with far more than a real court lady even the real deok im would and yes he's definitely the product of a shit ton of horrible things not least yeongjo and sado and yes he doesn't know how to deal with his emotions (not having had any great examples) BUT BOY WHAT THE FUCK
