I can't help but feel that Vito's decision to have Michael hide out in Sicily to escape The Mafia is a bit like going to Utah to get away from Mormons.

I know that he's mainly hiding from the authorities if also the wrath of The Five Families but it seems like a really bad choice of hiding place because all of the families will have connections there too and it's also such an obvious place for him to hide the godfather
