Castiel Meets Your Family

Castiel Meets Your Family

You took in a deep breath standing on the porch. ‘Just be yourself, they’ll love you’ You turned to the Angel. He had his hands curled up into fists and his posture tense and straight. You reached out placing your hand on his cheek. The stubble on his face scratching your palm, you loved the burn of it on your skin. He took his eyes from the door behind you the bright blue orbs landing on you and you smiled at him.

He nodded curtly. ‘Cas,relax, deep breath’ You whispered. You leaned up and pressed your lips to your boyfriends. He leaned into you and then suddenly pulled away from you. ‘We-’ He shook his head stepping away from you. ‘We should not engage in contact like that while around your family, they make believe I am not invested in you in any other way’ You bit your lip to prevent the smile from spreading across your face. ‘Alright Angel’ You nodded.

You turned back to the door and knocked. You heard a few shouts from inside the house before hearing footsteps coming towards the door. You could feel the nerves radiating off Castiel behind you. You looked over your shoulder to see him shifting nervously. You reached back and took his hand in yours.

Castiel opened his mouth his eyes widening but he was cut off by the door in front of you opening. You looked back to see your mother's face smiling at you. ‘Mom’ You beamed. You squeezed Cas’ hand before stepping forwards pulling your Mother into a hug. She patted your back. ‘And who’s this delightful young man?’ She pulled away from you.

Cas held his hand out. ‘Castiel, Ma’am’ He smiled tightly. ‘Oh, Castiel. Y/n has told me a lot about you. Pleasure’ She took his hand in hers shaking it. He nodded and you blushed a little remembering the things you had told her, all the rants about how amazing he was. ‘Come in, your brother is already here’ She motioned for you to come in.

You followed her into the house. Your Father was waiting in the hallway. ‘Evening kiddo’ He said but his eyes were on Cas glaring at him. ‘Hey Daddy’ You put on the cutesy voice. He looked down at you and smiled widely. You walked over to him and he pulled you in for a quick hug pressing a kiss to the top of your head. ‘Daddy, this is Castiel, my boyfriend’ You stepped back holding out your hand to Cas.

Castiel quickly walked over to you. ‘Sir, your daughter has told me much about you. It is a pleasure to finally meet you’ Castiel held out his hand. Your father looked Cas up and down. ‘Castiel’ Your father gripped his hand. ‘So you’re the Angel my daughter is seeing, I expected you to be bigger, you sure you can protect her?’ Your eyes widened. ‘Dad’ You snarled reaching out slapping him. ‘This is merely a vessel Sir, my strength is adequate enough to protect Y/n,although she does make it hard’ You groaned.

But you smiled when your Father let out a loud laugh. ‘Ain’t that true, you should have seen her as a teenager’ He clapped Castiel on the shoulder before dragging him away. ‘Well Dad likes your new boyfriend’ Your brother appeared behind you wrapping his arms around your neck dragging at you. You turned punching him in the stomach softly to get him off you.

You walked into the dining room to find them already sitting at the table. The food was out already. ‘Woah Mom’ You sat beside Castiel as your father grilled him. ‘How did you two meet?’ You bit your lip. ‘I tried to kill him’ You shrugged. ‘She failed’ Castiel clarified. ‘Thankfully’ You began to load your plate with food. Castiel leaned forwards taking a few things. You leaned over. ‘You don’t need to’ You whispered so none of the rest of them would hear. ‘It would be impolite not to’ He told you and you rolled your eyes.

Your Dad watched Castiel eat. ‘This is very good’ Castiel told your Mother. You held in a laugh knowing he couldn’t taste it at all. ‘Thank you’ Your Mother beamed at the compliment. ‘You hurt her when she tried to kill you?’ Your father asked. You shook your head straight away. ‘Pinned me against the wall with his grace, he didn’t hurt me Dad’ You shoved some mash into your mouth. ‘I would never hurt her sir, I was taken with her from the moment I seen her, she has a very unique soul’ You ducked your head your face going red from his words.

You father nodded in approval. ‘Well Castiel tell us about you’ Cas shrugged. ‘I’m an Angel, I am very old. I am here to protect humans’ He stopped. ‘I like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches’ He smiled looking at your father. Your Dad let out a loud laugh. ‘Me too’ He nodded at Cas. ‘You should try my wife’s one’s son, they’re the best’ You seen Castiel’s eyes widen a little. You reached across and squeezed his thigh. He looked down at you and smiled slightly.

After dinner your niece and Castiel sat on the couch. She was chatting his ear off about dolphins and he was telling her things she didn’t know. ‘She seems to like him’ You Mom smiled looking at them as you both washed up. ‘Dad does too, thank God. He told me if I dated a hunter he’d kill him’ Your Mom laughed nodding at you. ‘But Castiel is an Angel’ You shrugged putting away the last cup.

Your niece giggled loudly in the next room and fell back onto the seat. Castiel smiled widely at her reaction showing off his teeth and gums, his eyes crinkling.’Dad’s had some bad times with Angels’ Your Mother nodded at your words. ‘But Castiel is good’ She kissed your forehead walking back into the room.

Your brother sat beside Castiel and smiled at him. Your niece smiled at her Dad and jumped over Cas to him. You walked over to the seat and sat down beside Cas. ‘Daddy, Castiel told me about how God made Dolphins. How did he make kittens?’ She looked back at Castiel with wide interested eyes Your brother laughed. ‘I think Castiel had told you enough now, we need to get home and get you to bed’ You reached out and took Castiel’s hand in yours.

He squeezed your hand pulling it onto his lap. You smiled at him but he was watching your brother interact with his daughter as she sulked. ‘Next time I see you I’ll tell you all about kittens’ Castiel reached out tucking her hair behind her ears. She looked up at him with a smile. ‘You promise?’ Castiel nodded and she smiled wider. Your brother stood and nodded at Cas. ‘Can I talk to you?’ He asked nodding to the hallway.

Castiel looked at you and you smiled reassuringly. He stood following your brother into the hallway. ‘He’s a good kid, well, man, angel, whatever. He’s good’ Your Dad sat opposite you and you nodded. ‘He’s saved my life more times than I can count. He’s the best Dad’ He smiled and leaned back in his seat. ‘I’m glad you finally found someone kiddo, even if he is mixed up in this whole world. He’s strong you’ll be fine’ You leaned forwards and pressed a kiss to his cheek. ‘Thank you Daddy’ He ruffled your hair with a laugh.

You walked out into the hallway saying goodbye to your Mom and Dad. Your brother was still standing there with Cas. ‘And whatever you do, don’t go off with another woman, she will break every bone in your body’ He was leaning on the doorway. ‘Why would I go with another woman? I love Y/n, she’s the only woman I want’ Castiel tilted his head furrowing his eyebrows. ‘Just a warning Cas’ Your brother clapped Cas on the shoulder. ‘See you guys later’ He waved at you as he walked to the door.

You sat in the car driving back to the motel you were staying at. ‘They liked you’ You looked over at him as he drove. He had a large grin on his face. ‘They did, I can not believe they liked me’ You giggled as you leaned across the car pressing a kiss to his cheek. ‘They know how much I love you’ You breathed. He turned looking at you. ‘I love you’ He pressed a quick kiss to your lips before looking back at the road.

You reached out taking his hand in yours. He squeezed yours. ‘Thank you for meeting them, I know how nervous you must have been, you’re amazing’ Cas smiled still watching the road. ‘Anything for the woman I love’ He smiled. ‘And I do love you Y/n’ You couldn’t help the smile on your face as you looked back out the window at the passing houses. Tonight worked out a lot better than you thought it would.

Castiel Proposes

Castiel Proposes

You sat at the table in the bunker with Sam. ‘So where did you say Cas and Dean were?’ You looked up from the computer, no cases. Sam shrugged not taking his eyes from his own laptop. ‘I didn’t’ He grumbled typing hardly giving you a spare thought. ‘Because you don’t know or don’t want to’ Sam’s fingers stopped moving. He looked up from the laptop. ‘I don’t know’ You furrowed your eyebrows. ‘Lie’ He stood suddenly. ‘Beer?’ He turned and strode form the room before you could answer.

You sighed closing your eyes. You leaned back in the chair. They were avoiding something. Castiel had been gone for almost a month, he only came around for a few hours every now and then. It was frustrating to have your boyfriend disappearing so often, and frankly it was kind of worrying you. He had been so distant lately.

Maybe he wanted to break up with you, maybe that’s why he was always whispering with Dean, and why they always stopped when you walked into the room. Dean was giving him hints on how to do it.

But then again he was Cas, if he wasn’t feeling it anymore he wouldn’t string you along like that, he would just come out with it. So you had no fear of that, you hoped.

But that didn’t explain why re being so secretive. Why Cas and Dean were sneaking around today, why Sam was avoiding all your questions today. WHy Cas had tensed when he had seen you at breakfast this morning, why dean had pulled him away quickly. It also didn’t explain why he was so jumpy and jittery the last few days. Why he always kept asking Dean if it was okay? Or why he kept running his hand over the pocket on the inside of his trench coat.

It was all insanely frustrating.

Just then the bunker door opened. You pushed your chair back and made your way into the map room. You looked up at the stairs. Cas and Dean were walking in the door. ‘You’ll be fine Cas’ Dean clapped his hand down on Castiel’s shoulders. ‘What if it isn’t the right thing to do, we have a lot on our plate, maybe it’s not the right time’ Castiel’s eyebrows were furrowed and worry creased his handsome face.

Dean smirked at him as they began walking down the stairs. ‘You’ve been saying that for the last month, and you still want it. It’s the right time’ He smiled at his friend. ‘For what?’ You called crossing your arms over your chest. The both of their heads snapped towards you. Castiel’s eyes widened and he gulped, fear on his face. Dean’s lips parted and he shrugged. ‘Cas’ll tell ye’ He patted Castiel’s back.

Cas was frozen to the spot his blue eyes fixed on you. Dean took the steps two at a time when he came down the steps. His pace was fast as he walked across the room. ‘Go easy on him’ He whispered as he pressed a kiss to your temple and left you and your Angel boyfriend alone.

You looked back up at Cas, he still had that deer in the headlights expression no his face. ‘Cas?’ You raised your eyebrows. That seemed to get his attention. He straightened and his hand ghosted over his pocket again. ‘Would you like to take a walk with me Y/n?’ The way he said your name had you melting. You nodded and he smiled tightly at you.

Now, you were definitely worried.

Castiel took your hand when you reached him lacing his fingers with yours. ‘Cas is there something bothering you?’ You asked and you felt his fingers tense slightly. ‘Not at all’ He shook his head pulling you up the steps and towards the door. ‘Cas, if something’s wrong you can tell me’ You whispered watching him reach out for the door. He shook his head. ‘It is nothing to cause worry, my dove’ You smiled at his nickname.

You had gotten it because he said you were pure and innocent. He said it was from the story of Noah’s Ark. The dive came with a branch to show Noah there was hope, and you were his dove. Always there to show him hope, to lead him to dry land. You were his hope in the flood, the end to his floating around the world aimlessly. You were his solid ground.

When you got outside he turned leading you down the dirt track around the back of the bunker. The sun was setting and it was beginning to get dark. ‘Any reason we’re going this way?’ You asked. ‘The lake is this way’ Cas smiled down at you. He let go of your hand  his fingers wrapping around your chin turning your face to him.  He leaned forwards and pressed his lips to yours and pulled away quickly. ‘Would you like to go to the lake? If not we can go somewhere else’ You watched as he fidgeted slightly.

You leaned up and pressed your lips to his chin. ‘If that’s where you want to go, let’s go to the lake’  You smiled at him. It was obvious he wanted to go that way for whatever reason he just wanted to go. If it was that important to him you were happy to go whatever way he wanted, just as long as you were with him you didn’t mind where you went.

The walk towards the lake was spent in silence. Castiel broke it once or twice to ask you how your day had been and if you had something to eat. You giggled when he asked you again. ‘Cas, that’s the third time you asked me how my day has been’ He furrowed his eyebrows and then gave a sharp laugh. ‘I believe you are right’ You leaned your head on his shoulder as he lead you through the trees.

Then you seen something twinkling through the trees. Castiel seemed to notice you perking up and he reached across tipping your head up to look at him. He smiled down at you as he half watched you half watched where you two were walking. He leaned down and pressed his lips to yours.

You smiled against his lips leaning into him. Cas pulled you around in front of him. ‘I was nervous. I still am nervous’ You furrowed your eyebrows and he laid both his hands on your hips. He turned you again so your back was facing him. You gasped at the sight in front of you.

There was twinkling lights everywhere. They covered all the trees around the lake, the small bench that you and Sam had made one afternoon had fairy lights wrapped around it. A bottle of champagne resting on the grass beside it. There was some lanterns floating on the small lake. A blanket was laid out in front of the bench. ‘Cas’ You breathed. Lanterns were scattered across the grass casting a soft glow across the small clearing.

You felt him give you a soft push and you stepped forwards going to the bench. You heard a rustle behind you but ignored it as you got closer to the bench. The bottle was chilled. ‘Cas, this is bea-’ Your voice caught in your throat when you turned around.

Castiel was behind you. Your hand flew to your mouth. He was looking up at you a soft smile on his face. But you could see the worry in his eyes as he knelt on one knee. He had shed the trench coat and refixed his tie leaving him in only the suit. ‘Y/n Y/l/n’ He started and tears welled up in your eyes. He gripped a small black box in his hand ‘I watched many movies, and I realised when I do this I am meant to make a speech’ You let out a small teary laugh. That was so Cas.

He smiled at your laugh. ‘I love you, I do not believe I say it enough, even though I tell you every day, I will never say it enough. I promise I will spend the rest of my existance telling you that you are the only entity I could ever love this much and how special you are to me. You’re my dove, my hope and light. You have been with me through everything’ You smiled down at him as a tear escaped your eye.

For a second he looked worry pausing in his speech but you raised your eyebrows for him to continue. ‘From when I met you, I was in the garrison and you helped me turn my back on them when I knew I had to. No matter how many times I have died you have always been there when I came back. When I took Sam’s hallucinations you would visit me and wait for me to wake. When I was God, you were the only one who believed in me. You were always there for me, even when I was human’ He took a deep breath.

You wiped the tears from your face. ‘In my seven billion years I have not met anything that will compare to you and I know I never will. Will you do me the immense honour of becoming my wife?’ He lifted the black box opening it.

Inside was a beautiful ring. The band was simple and in the shape of two wings. In the centre where they came from was a dove made out of your favourite jewel. ‘Marry me?’ The worry was back in his eyes.

You nodded your head frantically. ‘Yes, yes of course I’ll marry you’ You cried. Castiel smiled. A large grin breaking out across his face. It was one of the biggest smile you’d ever seen on his face. It showed all his teeth and his gums. His eyes crinkled and he’d never looked better than in this moment. ‘Yes, yes yes’ You stepped forwards repeating the one word, it was all you could say. Castiel stood. You threw yourself at him wrapping your arms around him.

He laughed and buried his face in your shoulder holding you to him. ‘Oh Castiel, I love you’ You turned your head kissing his neck. ‘I love you’ You cried into his shoulder. You pulled away and took his face in your hands. You pulled him down into a passionate kiss both of you not being able to stop smiling.

He laughed when he pulled away. ‘I believe I am meant to put the ring on you now’ You nodded pulling back and holding out your hand. Cas took it from the box leaning over putting it on the bench before he took your hand in his. He slowly slid the ring onto your finger. ‘It’s perfect Cas, I love it’ You breathed lifting your hand examining it. It looked perfect, it was perfect, just like him.

You took his face in your hands again and pressed your lips to his. He wrapped his arms around you pulling your body flush against him. You pulled away leaning your forehead against his again. ‘We’ve one problem though’ You giggled. ‘What last name will I be taking?’ Castiel beamed at you. ‘I love you’ You giggled and kissed him again.

This had to be one of the best moments in your entire life, and you’d be making many more with this man who was going to be your husband very soon.

Daddy!Cas

Daddy!Cas

You rolled over in the bed reaching your arm out. You were met with nothing but cold sheet. No Cas. You grumbled thinking he was probably out on one of his ‘heaven needs me’ errands. Although he had been good these last few months, he had only left twice since your daughter had been born. He was an amazing Dad, always putting you and his little girl first. So leaving like this was out of character for him.

You shuffled over in the bed and buried your face in his pillow. You took a deep breath inhaling the scent that was undeniably cast, the deep musty manly smell that was your Angel.

It was then that you heard the soft singing coming from the locker on Castiel’s side of the bed. You cracked an eye open to see the baby monitor on the locker. You smiled tiredly. He had moved it. The monitor was usually on your locker, Castiel had moved it to his so he would hear the baby crying first.

Even though Castiel was an Angel again he liked to sleep. He would ‘sleep’ appear in your dreams at night. It was one of the things he missed about being human, that and the being able to taste food. But he still tried to sleep.

You pushed the blanket off of you and shivered at the cool air. Reaching out you picked up a robe putting it over the thin nightgown you had on. You opened the door to your room and padded down the carpeted floor towards your daughter's room. The light from the room flooded the otherwise dark hallway.

You tiptoed towards it Castiel’s singing getting louder with each step you took. You smiled and peeped around the door. Castiel’s back was to you, for some reason he was wearing a shirt, he never wore a shirt to bed. His shirt and boxer combo looked good on him, but then again everything looked good on him. He was rocking slowly from side to side as he moved around the room. His voice softly filling the room, it was low and gravely and still sent shiver down your back giving you goosebumps.

You leaned against the door listening to him sing. ‘Believe it or not, I'm walkin' on air. I never thought I could feel so free. Flyin' away on a wing and a prayer. Who could it be? Believe it or not it's just me’ Well that was an odd choice of a lullaby. But your daughter was quiet, she just loved having her Daddy sing to her, no matter what he was saying. She was like you in that regard, just loved listening to him speak.

He stopped and his daughter began to coo and giggle. He chuckled. ‘Believe it or not, I'm walkin' on air. I never thought I could feel so free. Flyin' away on a wing and a prayer. Who could it be? Believe it or not it's just me’ He finished the song. ‘Not exactly a lullaby but it did the job’ You whispered. Castiel spun around gently his eyes widening when he seen you. He sighed.

Your daughter looked up at you from her Dad’s arms. You smiled down at her wiggled your fingers walking into the room. ‘You were not meant to wake’ You stopped in front of him reaching out running your finger over along her cute little cheek. She had Castiel’s eyes, not just his vessel’s eyes but Castiel’s, wide, curious and good. You looked up at Cas and he was smiling down at you. ‘Sorry I woke you’ He apologise

You shook your head leaning up and pressed a kiss to his cheek. ‘You didn’t’ He nodded and looked down at his daughter. ‘Did you wake Mummy up little one?’ He muttered and she looked away from you and back up at him. She giggled waving her hands about. You smiled looking up at him through your lashes. ‘Did you?’ He teased with a smile and she giggled again.

He chuckled and looked away from her to you. ‘Why don’t you go back to bed and I’ll put her back to sleep’ You nodded and he leaned down pressing a kiss to your lips. ‘Nighty night Baby’ You tickled the little girl in his arms. ‘Be good for Daddy’ You kissed her forehead before walking from the room.

You stopped outside the door. ‘Let’s get you to sleep’ You leaned against the wall listening to him. You heard the crib creak as he leaned over it putting her back into it. You smiled widely as you listened to him talk to her. She giggled up at him. And then he started to hum softly to her. You didn’t recognise the tune but it was definitely soothing.

You looked around the door. Castiel was leaning over the crib. His eyes bright and a million dollar smile on his face as he looked at the little girl beginning to nod off. It was them that you realised he was singing in Enochian. You reached out and brushed his fingers over her little face. He smoothed down her hair and smiled wider, you didn’t know that was possible when he noticed she was asleep.

You smiled as you watched him watch her. He had a soft loving look on his face that you had rarely seen on his face. ‘She’s beautiful isn’t she?’ He looked up from the crib and towards the door. ‘I am celestial being, of course I knew you were still there’ He answered your unasked question. He knew you too well.

You nodded making your way into the room. ‘She has your eyes’ You walked over to the crib. Castiel reached out pulling you into his side. His arm wrapped around your shoulder pressing a kiss to his head. ‘She does, I like how she resembles me. I never got why parents were always so-’ He paused struggling for a word. ‘I get it’ You nodded at him and he smiled.

He looked back down at her. ‘But I understand it now. I do not believe I could love anything as much as her’ He tensed a little his eyes widening it. ‘I get it babe, I know the feeling’ He relaxed and you leaned into him looking down at the little girl. ‘I can not believe that she is a mixture of me and you’ He smiled. ‘You, that I understand. Me’ He shrugged his hand running up and down your arm. ‘I did not believe I could make something so-so-perfect’ You looked away from the crib

Castiel was looking at his daughter like she was the light of his life, like he had never seen anything like her before, with total love and awe. ‘I can’ You leaned up turning his head before pressing a kiss to his lips. ‘It is one of the reasons I love you, you’re perfect to me Cas’ He smiled down at you. ‘Let’s go back to bed, you must be tired’ He unwrapped his arm from around your shoulders.

His hand trailed down down your arm and he took your hand in his. You shook your head. ‘Not really, but I do want to go back to bed’ He nodded and the two of you left your laughter to sleep for the rest of the night. He clicked off the light and bent. You giggled as he swept you up bridal style. You wrapped your arms around his shoulders and leaned your head on his shoulder. ‘I love you both’ He kicked closed the door of your room and placed you on the bed. ‘We love you too ‘ You reached out pulling him onto the bed.

Castiel smiled down at you. ‘You’re an amazing Dad Cas, we’re lucky to have you’ You pressed your lips against his stubble. ‘I am lucky to have you both’ He pulled you into him. ‘My girls’ He beamed pressing a kiss to your head.

You snuggled into your boyfriends chest. ‘My girls’ He breathed and hugged you closer to him. God, he was a perfect dad.

The Boys Find Out About You And Castiel

The Boys Find Out About You And Castiel

You giggled as Castiel ran after you through the bunker. He had been reading all day. All day! The reason you had sent the boys out of the bunker was so that you could spend some one on one time with Castiel. But he had spent all his time reading up on whatever he could. You had all agreed, it was a day off and a much needed on at that. And that meant no one was doing research.

Not even your lovely Angel.

So, you had done the only logical thing you could. You had swiped the book from undeath his nose and ran. It had taken him a second to register what had just happened and he pushed the chair back running after you. But by then you were already a good bit away, thanks to your years of hunting and years on track in high school.

Castiel could have easily just used his Grace to stop you but he always loved playing these games with you. He always loved to catch you, and listen to you squeal in delight when he wrapped his arms around you. The laugh of joy when he finally caught up to you, and your giggles when as he chased you. It was something that brought a smile to his face, watching you run happily, not because something that could possibly kill you was chasing you. But you were enjoying yourself.

So here you were running through the bunker corridors book in your hand, wearing a pair of pajama shorts and a tank top with Castiel a few metres behind you wearing nothing but his slacks and shirt. It was a funny sight, two adults running around like a pair of children. It was even weirder due to the fact that it was you and Castiel, a serious hunter and a stoic Angel of The Lord.

You skidded into the wall as you turned a corner almost toppling over onto the floor. It gave Castiel enough time to finally close the last few metres between you two. You felt arms wrap around your waist. Your giggles stopped as you squealed happily. Castiel lifted you from the ground spinning you around in the air. You let out a loud laugh closing your eyes. Castiels laugh vibrated through your body.

When he put you down you spun around in his arms. You threw your arms around his neck with a large smile. ‘Let’s go have some fun?’ You breathed. Castiel’s smile got even wider. ‘What do you have in mind my darling?’ You giggled again before leaning up pressing your lips to his. Castiel’s smile disappeared quickly as he pulled you closer to him kissing you as if it was going to be the last time for him to do so.

You threaded your fingers through his hair. Cas’ hands squeezed your ass ‘Woah’ Both you and Castiel pulled away from each other looking down the hallway. Sam and Dean stood at the bottom their jaws almost on the floor. Dean’s duffle bag was dropped on the floor by his feet. You pulled away from Cas. ‘Close your mouth boys you’ll catch some flies’ You giggled. Castiel stood beside you a deep blush on his cheeks.

Sam was the first to recover. He blinked and cleared is throat. ‘Hand it over’ He turned to Dean as a grin split his face, his dimples becoming prominent. You furrowed your brows and your own mouth fell open. ‘That better not be money’ You crossed your arms.

Dean was still gaping at the two of you his eyes darting between you and his best friend. ‘Dean?’ Castiel tilted his head to the side. ‘Are you alright?’ That seemed to pull Dean out of whatever trance he was in. ‘You finally kissed her’ His face broke out into a shit eating grin. Dean strode forwards and clapped Cas on the shoulder. ‘Good on you buddy’ You smirked. Cas glanced up at Dean out of the corner of his eye looking up at Dean a small smile tugging on one side of his lips.

You reached out and grasped Dean’s shoulder. ‘Finally?’ You asked him. He smirked down at you. ‘Our little Angel here has had a crush you on for months’ He chuckled and winked at Cas. You furrowed your eyebrows and then began to laugh. You felt Castiel take your hand in his. ‘Dean’ His voice sent shivers down you, and stopped you from laughing, even when he was not speaking to you. ‘Y/n and I have been together for 4 months’ Dean’s eyes widened and you nodded at him.

He blinked. Sam’s hand came down on his shoulder. ‘Wait, you two have been together for 4 months and never told us?’ Sam pushed in beside his brother. ‘Sam, we wished to keep it from everyone until we knew. Hunting is dangerous and I am am Angel’ Castiel explained.

It was true. Lately the Winchesters and Castiel had been targets for a lot of Monster hatred. Noth that you could blame them, you had screwed up royally. So Castiel had not wanted your relationship to be public knowledge so you would not be targeted. He believed that if you were too deeply connected to them then they would try get to them using you. It had caused many arguments between the two of you but Castiel didn’t even feel the Winchesters should know.

You reached out touching Sam’s arm. ‘Not even us?’ Dean crossed his arms over his chest. ‘Know what?’ Sam asked you two. ‘She could have been in danger, I could not risk that’ Dean glared at Cas. ‘Not even to tell us?’ He snapped. Dean always had a thing against people keeping things from him, even the little things.

Castiel opened his mouth but you cut him off. ‘Dean, we were going to tell you. We just needed to figure out how everything was going to work, Angel-human relationships don’t work’ You shrugged and Castiel’s head snapped towards you. ‘We needed to be sure ours would’ Sam pursed his lips and nodded. ‘That does make sense Dean’ Sam looked at his brother. ‘I wouldn’t put her in danger like that’ Dean looked at his brother.

They shared a look. Then Dean grumbled and uncrossed his arms. He groaned fishing around in his pocket. Sam smirked. Dean pulled a twenty out of his pocket and slammed it down onto Sam’s open hand. ‘Did you two really bet on us?’ You crossed your arms. Sam smirked. ‘I said it would happen, Dean thought Cas was too much of a wimp’ You glared at Dean and slapped his arm.

He chuckled and winked at Cas. ‘Well, even though we know now, we don’t want you two making out like teenagers in the halls’ Sam let out a loud laugh as he shifted his bag on his shoulder. ‘If I remember right, that was you in high school’ Dean turned glaring at his brother before turning storming back to his back. ‘Least I got some’ He grumbled as Sam laughed.

You watched as the two boys walked down the hall arguing. You looked up at Cas. ‘That went a lot better than I thought’ You whispered. He nodded not looking down at you. ‘They took it extremely well, maybe they were still shocked’ He looked down at you his blue eyes boring into yours. You smiled. ‘Who cares’ You reached up cupping his cheek pulling his lips down to yours again.

He smiled against your lips. ‘HANG ON, WE STILL NEED TO TALK ABOUT THIS’ Dean shouted and you and Castiel pulled away and began laughing as you listened to him stomp back down the hall towards you both.

Castiel wrapped his arms around you. ‘I promised you the day alone’ He smiled as you closed your eyes feeling the breeze as he flew you both from the bunker so you wouldn’t be interrupted
