Here we have Chang Cheh cutting the cake with Chiang Sheng, Kuo Chui, and Lu Feng eagerly watching. I can’t say that I blame them.

This is an adorable photo of Kuo Chui, Lo Mang, Chiang Sheng, Lu Feng, and Chang Cheh! I’m thinking Sun Chien is the person that got cut out. I’ll have to see if I can find a full version of the photo

A Really Great Shot Of Kuo Chui, Chen Kuan-Tai, Lu Feng, And Lo Mang. Also Featured Is Chang Cheh In

A really great shot of Kuo Chui, Chen Kuan-Tai, Lu Feng, and Lo Mang. Also featured is Chang Cheh in front of some of his favorite actors to work with. It has been stated that he highly favored the venoms and I believe the same went for Chen Kuan-Tai!! All four were so talented fr

So About A Day Or Two Ago, I Went Digging For 5-6 Hours For More Venoms Content Since I Genuinely Love

So about a day or two ago, I went digging for 5-6 hours for more venoms content since I genuinely love doing it and researching is a little hobby of mine. I found this behind the scenes photo of Ten Tigers of Kwangtung (1979) and here it everybody looks so cute. The cake also looks delicious. I’m still on the hunt for a higher quality version but I couldn’t wait to share this!

Not quite sure who the person on the far left is. So we have Chin Siu-Ho in his FIRST movie at the age of 16 so he is VERY happy and clapping all cutely. The person in front of him is Hsiao Yu with his hands like they’re ready to clap, then there’s Lu Feng with his floofy hair/sunshine smile, legendary director Chang Cheh smoking, Lung Tien-Hsiang is behind them, grinning Lo Mang in the middle of clapping, Kuo Chui with a partially unzipped jacket, and smiling Chiang Sheng with his arms on FULL display with a nice watch/cigarette. Why did I narrate all of this? I just thought it’d be fun 😂

According To Lu Feng, There Was A Work Related Dispute Over Using The Snake Style That Leung Ting Decided

According to Lu Feng, there was a work related dispute over using the Snake style that Leung Ting decided to create for Five Deadly Venoms (1978) instead of the traditional Snake Fist. The right hand was going to be the head of the snake and the left would be the tail. Everyone was in opposition to this design because no one was familiar with that style and if they stuck with the traditional snake fist, Five Deadly Venoms would have come out before Snake in the Eagle’s Shadow (1978). Chang Cheh ultimately decided to go with the style that Leung Ting created which helped establish Five Deadly Venoms’ uniqueness. No one ever used that snake style again afterwards!

An important note, none of the disputes were ever personal! It was strictly work related, in case that wasn’t clear.

Is it just me, or is there a subtle change in emotion from Gao Ji (Sun Chien) in the scene above versus the one below? To me, it feels like he gets more annoyed or irritated when Meng Tianxia (Kuo Chui) grabs him for the second time. It's almost as if he is trying to keep up the demeanor and facade that he’s had for the whole film, even though he is clearly not very happy about being grabbed. It’s just the vibe I get from how Sun Chien laughs and smiles and the way he pulls Kuo Chui’s arm off his shoulder in terms of acting choice. It feels less friendly and understanding, imo.
