Babe has been used to winning so much that now he just has his first race and is upset, and it crushed his ego as well. But the way charile is reassuring him of who is is and helped him calm down.🥺 And regardless of the fact that babe is upset with him, it did help cause you see Babe's face start to soften a little. He's still mad with charile,but even in times like this when he doesn't even want charile around. Their is still a part of him that still accepted his kiss till he get reminded of why he's upset with him in the first place😭😭pavel is killing it so well!!!

Ok, about "Is Babe very sad?" that Charlie said that a lot of people were angry about.
For me is also his trauma, he internalized that he did not matter, the others matter more then him since he was a child. So, i think is possible that is a surprise for him that people are sad by his potential death.
He does not value his life, that is why he is eager to test the untested drug and risk it all the time. So he can imagine it other people valuing either.

What's gonna happen to Babe when he finds out Charlie's alive? I think he'll just completely freak out. How desperate he'll be to lose him again. He might wake up in the night, not seeing him in bed nearby and have a panic attack thinking that the return of his love was just a desperate dream. Even if he eventually comes to terms with it, there will always be a flicker in the back of his mind that Charlie could disappear again at any moment and it hurts. It hurts that Babe won't be able to live his life in peace, because he'll always be afraid of losing Charlie again, of diving back into the pain of mourning and loneliness.
