Fanfic idea: Adrien Agreste as a player/badboy
No Miraculous AU:
(Adrien’s backstory)
Chloe and Adrien were dating when they were in their early teens
Chloe cheated on Adrien a few months after his mom’s death with a model that Adrien was working with
This causes Adrien to make a promise to himself that he won’t ever fall in love again and if he believes that a girl is using him even the slightest, he’s gonna make her feel what he felt when Chloe broke his heart. A lot of pain and embarrassment
Because there are no miraculous in this story, Gabriel Agreste is a better father. He tries to be there for Adrien but Adrien pushes him away.
Françoise Dupont High School
This is gonna be an elite private school. I mean a supermodel, the mayors daughter, and the children of famous chefs/actors attend that school so why would it be a public school. So to be able to attend the school, you’d have to have a lot of money and a bit of internet fame.
Marinette’s backstory
Marinette was bullied in her previous school so she she decided to be homeschooled for her freshman year before transferring to Françoise Dupont High School at the beginning of her sophomore year
Françoise Dupont High School accepts Marinette because her family owns one of Paris’s most famous bakeries with locations all over the world. She has a brand called MDC where she designs for many famous people.
Jagged Stone was the one who discovered her talent and helped her grow her influence
Jagged calls her honorary niece which again helps her with her influence
She doesn’t have many friends so she models her own clothes and is pretty good at it
She has a lot of Instagram followers and she might start a YouTube channel soon
She tries to keep her connections and fame lowkey so people don’t use her
Lila Rossi’s backstory
She’s gonna be one of Marinette’s closest friends
When she transfers to Françoise Dupont High she tries to become friends with Adrien but she gets intimidated by everyone and starts lying
Adrien calls Lila out in front of everyone and embarrasses her in front of everyone. Then Chloe makes a snide comment about it and it gets worse
Marinette stands up for her and they soon bond and become good friends
Plot (kinda)
(Part 1)
Marinette is tired of her old school. Her whole life, she’s been bullied. So when middle school ends she tells her parents that she wants to be homeschooled.
Her parents agree and during summer Marinette decides to focus on herself and learn how to be more confident
The bakery business is doing amazing and they’ve gotten multiple offers to have branch out. This caused them to become one of Prius’s most famous bakery
Jagged Stone heard about the bakery and how good it is, so he decides to try it out. Him and Penny soon become close friends with the Dupain-Chengs
He learns that Marinette is a designer and falls in love with her style and commissions from her, this kickstarts her career
Throughout Marinette’s freshman year, she’s flooded with commissions and becomes to get her name known
Jagged convinces her to go to Françoise Dupont High so she can make friends and learn more about the business and stuff

Her first day of school at Françoise Dupont High and Chloe gets jealous of her. Chloe vows to ruin her life (no one at the school finds out about her being kinda famous until later)
Marinette sits next to Alya and they hit off.
Alya is already together with Nino and they are the only people who Adrien considers friends.
Adrien tries to get with Marinette and teases her often, which makes Chloe jealous
Chloe spreads a bunch of rumors about Marinette and Marinette doesn’t notice it
Adrien begins to doubt Marinette’s intention and he yells at her. This caused them to stop being friends. And because Alya and Nino are closer to Adrien than Marinette, they take his side and Marinette is left alone all over again.
For the following week, Chloe makes snide remarks about Marinette and Adrien agrees with a lot of them. Adrien also begins to tease Marinette in a harsh way, unlike the friendly way before
Marinette ignores them and tries to become friends with other people

There’s a new student coming and everyone is talking about her. Françoise Dupont High just doesn’t accept anyone after all. Especially during the middle the year
Lila arrives and tries to become friends with everyone
She knows that this school is elite so she lies so that she can make friends
Adrien immediately doesn’t like her so he comes up with a plan to get her to stop lying
He embarrasses her in front of everyone by calling out all her lies and even going as far as calling her “a desperate whore who wants attention”
Chloe laughs, agreeing with him and humiliates her even further.
Marinette comes to school late and sees everyone surrounding Lila and she hears all the disgusting things they’re saying about her and stands up for her
Adrien says something like “Of course your defending her. After all, both of you are desperate for attention”
Marinette goes off on him and she takes Lila into a secluded classroom and asks her is she’s okay and what happened
The beginning of a friendship
In this story, Lila is not a psycho. She only lies because she felt like she had too. Everyone knows that the students in Françoise Dupont High are crazy rich. And she felt like they wouldn’t want to be friends with her. When Adrien and Chloe humiliate her in front of the whole school, she develops a hatred for them (and rightfully so). She finds a friend in Marinette and they become very close. Lila is a very loyal friend in this story and she will have an actual story line that she will follow.

Would anybody be interested in a fanfic where Marinette just breaks? Like where she doesn’t care anymore and just lets herself be manipulated by the people around her. It could be Chloe or Lila. Or maybe even the whole class because they’ve always secretly hated how successful Marinette got. Like they they manipulate Marinette into thinking that she needs them and that it’s normal for her to always do what they want her to do.
At first, Marinette’s only escape could be Ladybug but it soon becomes bad for her too because of Chat Noir. Or this could just be a no miraculous AU.
The ending could either be that Marinate realizes that what her “friends” are doing is wrong or it could just be full on angsty and she just keeps doing what they want her to do.
