A part of Gia had always envied the Belfronts but then there were moments like these. Gia had always wanted something more from her own family - like maybe love or possibly acceptance - and the Belfronts were exactly the kind of big, warm family Gia had liked to picture for herself right up until she got smacked in the face with how...strange they all were. Toby (and Jackson, but he wasn't a werewolf) was the exception, in most cases, he had his quirks, but they didn't tend to get in the way of living his life like any other person...and then there were his cousins. Oh, sure, Gia liked them all (and in the interest of full disclosure was very pleased to have seen every Belfront in the nude) but Colton, Caden, Claire, and Rory were just plain trouble. But then, Gia had always liked a little trouble, every now and then. Gia tilted her head, tossing chocolate waves as she arched a brow. "It was already weird," teased the female, winking. "Two werewolves walk into a bar...How does that joke end?" Ordering up two shots, she shoved one towards Toby with a burst of laughter. "I suggest you do a few more shots, then." Grabbing up the one she'd ordered for herself, Gia downed it quickly, before turning back to her companion with a grin. "Granted, Claire does have a way of...adding a little color to things." Truth be told, Gia had been looking for an opportunity to see Claire. Right before Everett had asked her to go steady with him, Gia had had a ladies' night out with Claire. They had gotten black out drunk and, truth be told, Gia wasn't sure what else. She seemed to remember an incredible kiss...but she'd been so drunk she wasn't sure it had actually happened or if it'd just been an amazing dream. That being said, Gia didn't quite want to flat out ask Claire if they'd made out...But she still wanted to know. Maybe it'd come out into the open, tonight. "The only question is...just how much color?"

As per usual, Claire wiggled her way into Toby’s evening activities like the brat that she was. It had started out innocently enough. She had texted him and asked if he still owned Homeward Bound on DVD (he did), and he texted her back that it was probably somewhere at Brett’s but that she would have to wait until tomorrow to pick it up because nobody was home. Which, inevitably, led to: What the fuck are you out doing, then?
Toby didn’t like to lie, but he couldn’t possibly tell her the truth. Meeting a friend for drinks.
You don’t have any friends, Tobias. I’m gonna come find you!
Toby pocketed his phone and glared into his beer before tipping it back. “Claire’s coming to meet us here,” he practically grumbled to his lovely companion Gia, already gazing over his shoulder to the front door of the a Twin Moon. “It’s gonna get weird, isn’t it? Claire always makes things weird. I’m not drunk enough yet to handle her being weird.”
