Cleome was found by Big Mama on one of her little strolls around her hotel when he was just an itty bitty baby
She was under the belief that it was more animal-like than yokai-like which is why she had him as some sort of pet until he started growing more like a yokai

12 going 13 but looks 15, she’s very popular with old and younger audiences due to her charisma and nostalgic feeling. A lot of older ppl think she ressembles a very popular actor and his partner from years ago but is kept on the down low to avoid rumors or back lash.
She's always seen with her older sister or best friend by her side when not on set
